So, I would like to tell you that this story takes place in my country ; Malaysia.
It's in Highschool, I'd name the school as SMK Laut Biru (Blue Ocean Highschool).
In case if you're wondering, Malaysian school have uniforms. Below are uniforms for prefects in the school. Prefects usually wore vests (like waiters) or blazers, if they are high ranking prefects (usually the leader of a prefects squad).
For those who are normal students, they either wear a normal uniform (with blue or black apron) or just shirt and skirt/pants with tie.

For those who are unaware, Malaysia school allows their students to take as much subjects they want. Science Stream students have 8 subjects, while the other class usually have less. Sometimes people took 10 to 14 subjects so they can study oversea and get better chance to get jobs.
