Yana Aikyou is one of the main characters of Aikatsu Era.
Etymology: 愛敬 (Aikyou): 愛 (ai) means love and 敬 (kei) means respect 矢那 (Yana): 矢 (ya) means arrow
History: Yana's family is from Sapporo, Hokkaido. She moved to Tokyo when she was two years old.
Relationships
-Reyna Harusame
Yana first meets Reyna during the orientation day. They are roommates and best friends. Yana helped Reyna adapt to the school environment and make new friends.
-Syurina Tanaka
Syurina was Yana's very first friend in Pearl Star Academy. Although they did have an argument at first, they were reunited with Reyna's help.
-Kiyoko Shibagaki
Yana finds Kiyoko inspiring. In E7, they meet and become close friends. Yana and Kiyoko are the most energetic of the five girls.
-Sayako Hidaka
Yana and Sayako met in E23. They later formed a unit called Hokkaidols as they are both from Hokkaido after being inspired by Cassiopeia.
-Ayame Akizora
Yana chose to be an idol because of Ayame and Hatsuko's unit, Capella. She highly looks up to Ayame and is on friendly terms with her. They become closer during their Pleiades Shower ☆ tour.
-Hatsuko Kosaka
Just like Ayame, Yana looks up to Hatsuko and becomes closer to her when the two were in the unit Pleiades Shower ☆.
Personality
Yana is optimistic, cheerful and artistic. Before her idol debut, she was quite pessimistic and felt insecure about herself. However, after meeting Syurina and becoming her friend, Yana has become more carefree and confident.
Trivia - Her Zodiac sign is Pisces - Her hobbies are watercolour painting and crocheting - Her favourite food is cream puffs - She shares some traits with Sayako - Both are cute-typed idols - Both are from Hokkaido - Because of this, the two formed the unit Hokkaidols - She is the only member of Natura who never had a crush on Gin - She wants to try archery - Since working for the Princess of Flowers programme, Yana has been immersing herself in gardening.
