I remembered growing up being insecure because of my flaws which greatly influenced my ability to love myself and my conception of real beauty. I was always afraid to express myself thinking that people around me might say something negatively. I was absolutely afraid of criticism. Until, gradually, through time and experience, I was able to look into the beauty of imperfections. I was able to embrace my flaws and become proud of it instead. I accepted who I am and how I look and that gave me the courage to escape from my fear and insecurities.
