I like how this drawing turned out, I tried a new shading technique. And you know my shading obsession ;3
I tried 'Hatching' Wich is placing small lines next to each other to create an illusion of darker spots in the drawing, often used in manga.
I don't know if you can see it well on the picture, but the darker spots are the spots where I used the hatching technique. I did go back to the darker spots with a black Crayola pencil to darken it to my liking.
Materials used:
-Letraset fine tip liner 0.1 (for outlining and hatching)
-Crayola coloured pencils 12 pack
-Crayola twistables
Oh and the picture (if you are on your mobile device) isn't displayed very well, so click on it and you will see the whole picture. You can always do this to all the other drawings I will show in the future, just so you can have a better look at it ;)
