Nightmarish

You're running. You don't know what from but your running. You see a dark shadow behind you. its getting closer, closer CLOSER. The monstrous silhouette envelopes you. You wake up flaleing and in a cold sweat. Awsten is soundlessly sleeping right beside you. You hold him very tightly. He stirs and then wakes up. He turns and holds you as well. You did not realize you were crying. Awsten did. he put his hands on your cheeks and used his thumbs to wipe away the tears.
"Darling what's wrong?" he says, voice overflowing with sympathy.
"I had a nightmare."
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
"No, not really," you pause "can you just hold me?"
"Yeah, of course sweetness."
You lay with your head tucked into Awsten's chest and his arms around you tightly. You feel very relaxed and you fall into a peaceful dream, but your could of sworn you heard the smallest of "I love you"s.
