Part 5v y/n POV

That night to take my mind off things I lay in bed watching Lucifer. My phone vibrates and I look at it.

Brennen Taylor: I'm breaking up with you

Y/n: what? why? You promised you wouldnt break up my heart. We've been together for a year. Why now?

Brennen Taylor: I'm sorry.

I start crying, thinking why. Why now, we've been through so much. I text sydney talking about what happened and that I probably wont be at school tomorrow, after that I put my phone on charge and cuddle with my blankets. I then remember that I have to make colby do that play, so I have to be at school tomorrow, with that thought and having the break up I just want to bang my head against a wall for 30 minutes straight.

*next day*

I dont go to school for a half the day and just sleep in, I get to school after lunch, by now everyone most likely has heard that me and brennen broke up, you can tell how its affecting me, this morning I couldn't get rid of my swollen eyes and their redness so I just left it and drove to school, alot of people are looking at me and pointing but I ignore it while getting my books for class.

"Hey y/n, are you okay? Sydney said you wouldnt come today what happened?" Tara says, as she comes up to me

"The principal, yesterday, said that I have to get colby into the play and make sure he actually does something and is there. And the rehearsals for the play are today, if it wasnt for that I wouldnt be here." I say closing my locker and turning towards her, tara starts talking again but i cant hear her, or focus on her there is something going on behind her that makes tears come to my eyes more, but not let them fall
