Mary's POV
I was sitting in the back seat of the impala listening to Sam and Dean argue. "Because Demons, that's why. I mean the second you find out these Ruby and Crystal chicks are Demon you go for the holy water! You don't chat!" Dean said pissed off. "No one was chatting, Dean." Kara said. "Oh yeah? Then why didn't you send their asses back to Hell?" Dean asked. "Because - Because they said they might be able to help us out!" Sam said. "How?" Ricky asked smirking. "No really, Sam, how? How could they possibly help us?" Dean asked. "She told us she could help you, Ok?" Kara said. Dean still looked confused. "Help you out of the crossroads deal." Sam said. "What is wrong with you, huh? They're lying, you gotta know that, don't you? They knows what your weakness is – it's me." Dean said. "What else did they say?" I asked since I left halfway through the talk. "Dude?" Ricky asked. "Nothing. Nothing, OK?! Look we're not idiots Dean, we're not talking about trusting her, we're talking about using her. We mean we're at war, right? And we don't know jack about the enemy; we don't know where they are, we don't know what they're doing. I mean, hell, we don't know what they want. Now this Ruby and Crystal girls know more than we will ever find out on our own. Now yes, it's a risk, we know that, but we need to take it." Kara said. "You two okay right, I mean you guys feeling okay?" Dean asked. "Yes we're fine, Why are you always asking us that?" Sam said, a phone started ringing. "Not mine I have set ringtone songs." I said. "Same." Ricky said. "It's not mine." Kara and Sam said. Dean went for his. "Nope. Check the glove compartment, it's Dad's." Dean said. "Dad's?" I asked. "Yes, I keep it charged up in case any of his old contacts call." Dean said. Sam opened the glove compartment and answered the phone. "Hello? Yes... this is Edgar Casey... No! No, no, no, don't – don't call the police, I'll handle this myself. Thanks. You know, can you just uh, can you just lock it back up for me? Great. Uhm, I- I uh, I don't have my - my book in front of me, do you- do you have the address so I can... Sure, OK. Go ahead. Right, thanks a lot." He said and ended the call we all looked at him. "Dad ever tell you he kept a container at a storage place?" He said to us. "What?" Dean and I asked. "Outside of Buffalo?" Sam asked hoping one of us knew. "No way." Dean said. "Yeah. And someone just broke into it." Sam said. Dean drove to Buffalo we got to the storage place, we all piled in the elevator. "Man..." Dean trailed off. "What?" Ricky asked. "Probably our Dad. You know him and his secrets. Spend all this time with the guy and it's like we barely even know the man." I said. Dean nodded. "Well, we're about to learn something." Sam said. We got to where it was we walked in and saw a red warding drawn on the floor with footprints. I looked closer and saw it was a devil trap with footprints on it. "No demons allowed." I said. "Blood. Check this out." Ricky said holding up a tripwire attaches to a shotgun, someone was paranoid. "Whoever broke in here got tagged." Kara said. "Dear old Dad. I got two sets of boot treads here, looks like it was a two-man job. And our friend with the buckshot in him looks like he kept walking." Dean said. "So what's the deal? Dad would do work here or something?" Sam asked us. "Living the high life, as usual." I said walking around I saw my birth certificate, I'll just keep that. I saw Dean with a trophy. "1995." Dean read. "No way! That's my Division Championship soccer trophy. I can't believe he kept this." Sam said. "Yeah... It was probably about the closest you ever came to being a boy." Dean said. I looked and saw my first homemade bow and plastic arrows that had suction cups. I grabbed one and aimed at the wall and it hit straight on. "My first bow and arrow." I said. "Oh, wow! It's my first sawed-off. I made it myself. Sixth grade." Dean said laughing and pumping the shot gun that reminded me of a water gun. We entered a room where the chain had been cut off. "Holy crap. Look at this, he had land mines..." Kara said. "Which they didn't take. Or the guns. I guess they knew what they were after, huh?" Ricky said. I looked and saw binding magic on boxes. "Hey guys, check this out. See these symbols? That's binding magic. These are curse boxes." I said. "Curse boxes? Th – they're supposed to keep the evil mojo in, right, kinda like the Pandora deal?" Dean said. "Yeah. Yeah, they're built to contain the power of the cursed object." Sam said. "Well Dad's journal did mention a whole bunch of stuff, you know? Dangerous hexed items, fetishes... he never did say where they ended up." I said. "Yeah. Well this must be his toxic waste dump." Kara said Sam noticed there wasn't dust in one spot. "One box is missing... Great." Sam said. "Well maybe they didn't open it." Ricky said. "Wishful thinking." I said to Ricky. We were able to find the car the dumbasses were in from the security camera. We found it in an alleyway next to an apartment complex, Dean got out and checked the plates. "Connecticut. Last three digits 880." Dean said. "Yep, that's it." Kara and I said. "Should've blacked out their plates before they parked in front of the security camera." Ricky and Dean said. We nodded. We found the apartment and I picked the lock and we snuck in with our guns. "Royal Flush. Grossman, that's the second Royal Flush in eight hands." One guy said. "Yeah, this is a lot of fun." I guess, Grossman said. "I can't lose. I mean really, I - I can't lose! Maybe this thing really works? You know what I'm saying? Ah – I tell you something there's no way in Hell we are handing it over to that stuck-up bitch now, not after all we've been through. Uh uh. Let's go, huh? Let's get out of here, let's go have some fun." The idiot said we decided to make ourselves known. "FREEZE, FREEZE! NOBODY MOVE!" I yelled holding my gun. "Don't move!" Sam instructed. "DON'T MOVE!" Dean yelled as one of them tried to move. "What is this?" Idiot said. "All right, give us the box. And please tell me that you didn't–" Dean said and I noticed the open box with Ricky. "Oh they did." Ricky said. "You opened it?!" Kara yell asked. "Are you guys cops?" The idiot asked. "What was in the box?" Sam asked. I saw a rabbit's foot sitting on the coffee table with idiot and Dean. "Oh, was that is, huh? It was wasn't it? What is that thing?" Dean asked. The idiot used Deans distraction and took the gun from Dean and throws it on the floor Ricky shot a bullet and it flew everywhere. The guy, Grossman came at me and I tried punching but her blocked it so I kicked his side making him stumble. I grabbed the rabbits foot before the idiot could and Kara stepped on one of his hands probably breaking it. Well the idiot grabbed my leg and I kicked him in the face knocking him out and Sam got Grossman in the bookcase making the books fall on him knocking him out. I felt power from the rabbits' foot. "Sammy take this." I said throwing to him. "Is that a rabbit's foot?!" Dean yell asked. "I think it is." Sam said holding it up. We were now in the impala at a parking lot and Dean cane out of the store with a paper bag he got in. "I'm not finding anything on it in Dad's journal. Can I call Hades and Persephone?" I asked. "Sure." Dean said. I hit Persephone's phone number and she picked up. "Γεια Σου Γλυκιά Μου." She said, hey Sweetheart, in Greek. "Γεια Σου Μαμά. Τι ξέρεις για το καταραμένο λαγοπόδαρο;" I asked, Hey ma. What do you know about a cursed rabbit's foot, in Greek. "I don't know Baby ask Bobby." She said. "Okay Ma." I said. I hung up. "Call Bobby." I said. "You just won $1200! I don't know, man, it doesn't seem that cursed to me!" Dean said. "What we got money?" I asked. Dean showed me winning scratch off tickets. "Hurray!" I cheered. We were now outside Sam had scratched more tickets and won. "Oh, man!" Kara said seeing the tickets. "Well Dad never told us about this thing. I mean you knew about his storage place at Black Rock?" Sam asked, Bobby over the phone. "His lockup? Yeah, I knew. Hell I built those curse boxes for him. Listen, you have got a serious problem." I heard Bobby say over the phone. I took the phone. "Bobby I touched the rabbit's foot am I cursed?" I asked. "Not as bad as Sam, Sunshine. That rabbit's foot ain't no dime store notion. It's real Hoodoo, Old World stuff. Made by a Baton Rouge conjure woman about a hundred years ago." Bobby said. "It's a hell of a luck charm." Sam said seeing the gold watch. "It's not a luck charm, it's a curse! She made it to kill people, Sam!" Bobby said over the phone. "See, two people touch it, they own it. they own it, sure, they get a run of good luck to beat the Devil." Hades said over the phone. "Wait how does it work for two people?" I asked. "Only if they have a relationship with the person." Hades said. I looked at Sam in shock. "But, you lose it, that luck turns. It turns so bad that you're dead in a week." Bobby said. "Well, so I won't lose it, Bobby." Sam said. "EVERYBODY LOSES IT, IT'S A DAMN RABBIT'S FOOT!" Hades yelled in the phone nearly blowing off mine and Sam's eardrum. "Well, then, how do we break the curse?" I asked. "I don't know if you can. Lemme look through my library and make some calls. Just sit tight." Bobby said. We ended the call. "Dude! We're up fifteen grand!" Dean said. We gave him a half smile. "Hey can we get something to eat my starving." Ricky said. We nodded. We walked and explained to the rest of them. "Don't worry, Bobby'll find a way to break it. Until then I say we hit Vegas, pull a little Rain Man. You can be Rain Man." Dean said. "Yeah and we'll have to leave Ricky and Mae in the motel room." Kara said. "Look, we just lay low until Bobby calls back, OK?" Sam said. I went to a guy up front. "uh, table for five please." I said. "CONGRATULATIONS!" He yelled. "It's exciting, I know." Ricky said. "You are the one millionth guest of the Biggerson's Restaurant family!" The staff started singing and we were handed a huge check, Sam and I looked embarrassed, while Kara, Dean, and Ricky looked happy. We sat down and we ate free food which was amazing. I was eating a piece of cheesecake with Ricky.
