Jakes POV
I get passed the ball at half and the time runs out. I throw it and it bounces of the backboard and into the net. I turn around to Peter who threw me the ball and he jumps in my arms. Then the team comes running and jump on us. After a bit we take a picture with our trophy and then couch class us in a huddle

Co- with this team we have had a bunch of ups and downs but some how we ended up on top. This team has went from winning the first game to losing every single game after that to winning the championship. The only reason we got back on track was by one player

I get pushed in the middle of the huddle

Co- Jake you brought this team from its lowest point to the highest especially in this game. So they originally gave the mvp award to someone else but I think everyone here also agrees that you should get it

He gives it to me and everyone crowds around. I hold my first place and mvp metal in my hand. They all back away and go around the gym. I head to the changing room and take a shower. I put my khakis and white shirt back on. I grab my bag and throw my stuff in it. I change my shoes into my dress ones and head home. I get in my car. Oh yeah I bought my very first car but with the help of dan for my birthday. I drive home but then go into dans house. I go through the sliding doors

C- did you win
J- *smiles* yeah

He bring me in a hug

J- and mvp
C- that's great Jake
J- thanks

He let's go and walks off. I look in the kitchen and it's filled with people, Like a lot. I go down the hallway and look in the living room and there's a bunch of people in there too. I get passed everyone but dump into one person

J- my bad

I leave going to find Erika. I find dan after I can't find her

J- dan where's Erika
D- did you guys win
J- yeah but where's Erika
D- she should be down here
J- I'll be back

She may be upstairs. I get through all the people and run upstairs. I go down to her room and open the door. I shut it and she isn't on her bed. I look in the bathroom and find her there. She leans on the counter with her hands

J- Erika?

She looks up to me and I get a glimpse of her red face before she attaches herself to me. I wrap my arms around her and I sway us side to side I kiss the top of her head

E- Jake I...
J- you're okay

I keep one arm around her and grab her face to look up at me

J- what happened

She starts to talk to me and I lift her up in the counter

E- I was downstairs with my family for a bit and then all of a sudden a bunch of people started to come. I went looking for you but then I remembered you weren't here.

I wipe her tears away

E- then more people came and people started to talk to me
J- how long have you been up here
E- like 20 minutes

I slide her closer and I push my nose on hers and she smiles. I kiss her and pull back. She pulls me into a hug and her head goes in my neck

E- did you win
J- yeah
E- I wish I was there
J- me too

She kisses my neck

J- do you want to go downstairs now
E- give me a sec

She jumps down and fixes her makeup.

E- do I look okay
J- you look more than okay

She smiles and then we both head downstairs. This party is like a celebration for dan and angels company that they were trying to get going in December. We side in the kitchen in a corner with my hands on her waist as I stand behind her. I point at this guy walking by

J- his hair is literally going to fall off
E- Jake
J- what
E- don't say that
J- look at her she's got a full face of makeup on that makes her look like a clown

I hear erika let out a quiet laugh so I keep going

J- you see the women with the purple dress
E- yeah
J- you can tell that her ass is fake her legs are too skinny

I put my chin on her shoulder

J- the guy with the blue shirt and vest looks like Bertram from Jessie
E- jake that's my dad
J- oh shit it is

She turns around to punch me but I hold both of her hands.

J- babe you have to admit he looks like him if you don't there's something wrong with you
E- okay he kinda does

I pull her into me and press my lips on her head.

Couple hours later

Erikas legs wrap around me and her arms wrap around my neck

J- you're lucky I love you or I would have made you walk

She kisses my cheek and I push the door open. Erika drops her legs once we stop inside. I lock the door and we head upstairs. We both change and I lay on the bed waiting for erika. She walks in and crawls beside me

J- love you
E- love you too
