Hades

Charon was happier that day than the day before.

He was in his suit, waiting in his kitchen. "What's the matter?" He asked. "Persephone isn't here. She can always make your mood go sour."

I shrugged, arms crossed.

Charon looked at me. He was more of a grandfather, or even father type, than Chronos had ever been.

"Look, whatever, it will pass. The girl is soon back on Earth, and then you'll have a solid five months until Persephone gets back."

I nodded. "Yeah, thanks." I said.

Charon smiled a crooked smile. "Now get out, I have a book to read."

I smiled and left, riding Aethon back to the castle.

Stella was walking up the steps to the front door, as I made my way towards the steps.

The dress was blowing in the wind. She pulled the jacket around her and walked to the door.

I followed her with my gaze until she was inside. The door was shut before I made my way up the stairs.
