I was walking alone in Hammerlock when I over heard a crowd shouting and gathering around someone who had just arrived. "Iris! Over here" I hear someone shout "Iris look at me!" Another girl shouts and I walk closer to see what was going on. "Hello my fans I'm sorry to have to go so soon but I came to meet up with the dragon trainer of Galar" she says and walks into the vault I decide to follow her pushing past the crowd until I was right behind her. "Excuse me your Iris right?" I ask and she looks at me "yes the champion of the unova region" she says "well why do you wanna meet raihan?" I ask her "because we both specialize in dragon types" she says "oh your a dragon type trainer as well?" I ask her "yep but who are you?" She asks me "I'm y/n the newest gym leader in Galar I specialize in f/t" I say "well it's nice to meet you y/n" she says "is raihan not here?" She asks me "probably not whenever he isn't at the gym he is in the wild area" I say "can you show me where he might be?" She ask "of course" I say and we head outside and she sends out a dragonite. "Cmon it will be quicker if we ride dragonite" she says and I nod before watching her get on dragonite and taking her hand as she pulls me on behind her. "Hang on" she says and we take off flying at a really quick speed. We arrive at the wild area in less than a minute but we keep flying as we look for Raihan. "There he is" I say pointing to him and his flygon. We land and get off dragonite as Raihan runs up to us clearly excited. "No way!" He shouts "yes I know your excited to see the dragon champion of unova" I say trying not to sound jealous. "If course she is one of the strongest dragon type trainers!" He says and she just laughs "well why don't we battle since your so excited to see me" she says and dragon lands in front of her, then lets out a roar. Be a 3 on 3 battle ready begin!" I shout and the dragons immediately start clashing. "Dragonite use ice beam!" Iris shouts and dragonite attacks but flygon dodges it with its quick speed. "Flygon use stone edge!" Raihan shouts and flygon manages to get a direct hit. "Dragonite dragon claw!" Iris shouts and dragonite attacks this time landing a direct hit. "Flygon you ok?" Raihan asks and flygon nods before using stone edge again only to miss this time. "Dragonite let's finish this use hyper beam!" She shouts and dragonite attacks landing a direct hit making flygon faint. Raihan returns flygon then sends out goodra. "This isn't over yet goodra use rain dance! Then thunder!" He shouts and goodra does do landing a direct hit and paralyzing the dragonite. I watch as both trainer clash and I couldn't help but think he looked so happy battling her, he never looked as thrilled battling me. I sigh and look down at p/p who was looking up at me worried "don't worry girl I'm fine" I say and look back at the battle to see that dragonite was now fainted. Iris returns dragonite then sends out haxorus. The battle continues and they were now on their last Pokémon, Raihan using duralidon and Iris using hydregon. "Use thunder!" Raihan shouts and hydregon gets hit but doesn't even look scratched. "Now use dragon fang!" She shouts and it lands a critical hit making duralidon faint. "Iris wins" I say and they smile before walking up and shaking hands. "Why don't we train together sometime?" It was now a week later
Raihan had stopped texting me back it had been three days since he had texted me and I knew it was because of her. They were perfect for each other and I decided to leave it be. I was now scrolling on my instagram and I notice that he had posted a picture with her. My new bestie is going back to Unova today I'm gonna miss her. I sigh and like it anyway and decide to Comment saying you to are cute together. I then get up and put my phone on my pocket before changing into a more comfortable outfit and walking outside of my gym in motostoke.
