The Next Day

Louie's POV

Me and Webby are supposed to make the plan go into action today, but I am in complete denial on how I am going to confront Huey. If Webby was here she would know what to do, and how to approach Huey. "I'm a goner", I sigh. I was sitting on my bed so I reached over to the side table right next to my bed and grabbed my phone off of it. I input my password and clicked Google. I can't believe this was going to be in my history but, I typed, 'How to approach someone who just got out of an argument'. I clicked enter and looked through the links. I was furious at the results, "I DON'T NEED DATING ADVICE!", I yelled unconsciously. I through my phone down on the ground and flopped back on my bed. "Webby's going to kill me", was the only thing in my head, until I heard three slight knocks at my bedroom door. Knock. Knock. Knock. I sat up a little and said, "Come in?".

I watched as the door handle slightly moved and the door push open slowly, and saw by my surprise the oldest of the triplets walk into the room. He closed the door behind him and he stood in front of my door awkwardly. "You need somethin'?", I said still in denial of seeing him. He repositioned his feet and looked up at me and said, "Well...I heard you scream you didn't need dating advice...and well I just wanted to see if you were ok". I was still in shock of him being in here, but I'm going to seize the opportunity while I have it. "Oh no...I'm all good, actually I was trying to figure out ways to talk to you so I could hear your side of the argument, and prove you right", I smirked. I took my time to see how his facial expressions changed, from an awkward smile to it being lit up in good shock (If that's even possible?). It took a minute for him to answer but I could tell he was excited, "Wait...REALLY! Finally for once someone wants to hear my side and get the full truth out of things and-", I cut off Huey and said,"Calm down you're rambling again". He laughed at his own mistake, for once?

He looked up at me since I was on my bed and said, "Are you being serious, or are you tricking me?", he had full concern. I started panicking and spit out, "N-no of course not were b-brother, I could never...". He somehow seemed to believe it, and said, "Oh, okay". I stood up and hopped off my bed and walked over to the door. I opened up the door and took a few steps out then looked back at Huey, "You comin' dude?". He looked back up at me nervously, and said, "Uh...sure why not". We both walked down the stairs and into the kitchen, we both grabbed sandwiches off the counter and I slid my way to the living room and plopped down on the couch. He slowly walked in, and made his way up the couch a bit more slowly and graceful than me. I grabbed the remote and turned on the TV, and smirked, "Let's get watching", he slightly laughed after I spoke. This plan will work.

Webby's POV

I was in the kitchen and I saw Louie and Huey getting sandwiches, it must have been easy for him to get to Huey then. The only thing I worry about with Dewey is that he doesn't care because I was "Apart of the fight", when I was there to stop them from fighting. I put my head on the table and sighed. I heard slight footsteps, and someone walking over and sitting across from me, but I ignored. It was probably Louie anyway, that's why I didn't care. I inhaled sharply and exhales slowly calming me down. Since Louie was there I whispered, "This is never going to work", I sighed once again. I heard Louie shift in his chair, and then a heard a different voice say, "What's not going to work?". WAIT!? That isn't Louie...it's DEWEY! I lifted my head up and there he was sitting right across from me, I looked at him and said, "Oh...nothing", I nervously laughed right after I spoke...jeeze I suck. Dewey shrugged, and looked up at me, we stared into each other's eyes, it was a comfortable stare.

I broke eye contact and looked back down at the table, and said, "Dewey...I'm sorry for yelling at you and Huey and couple day's ago, I just wanted you two to stop fighting, even if you two still haven't made up yet, maybe we could talk...at the least". He stayed silent, but it wasn't an awkward silence. I looked back up at him, and watched as he looked out the window, "Webby...", he started. He sighed like I did before, and started talking again, "Honestly I trust you", he looked back at me and did a faint smile. "But...what Huey did, isn't something that I can really forgive on the spot, I understand what you did that night, but if you didn't interfere we would've made up by now", he finished. I felt my stomach drop at his words, I was the cause of all of this fighting now. I buried my face in my hands and I can feel the hot tears fall down my face. His words kept replaying in my head, and I felt worse and worse each time they replayed.

Dewey grabbed my hands on my face and said, "I'm sorry...I didn't mean to upset you, I just wanted you to understand". I nodded in response, even if I thought everything was better now, the tears kept falling. He took his hands and wiped away the tears, and I could feel a light blush cover my face. I giggled at his actions, and I heard him laugh too. I looked up him and said, "I-if it's ok w-with you, we could t-talk about why Huey s-said what he said that d-day...". He gave me a sympathetic smile and whispered, "Yea ok...that would be good". He dropped his hands off of my face and fixed his shirt like a awkward mess. I giggled again, and he looked up at me, smiled and said, "What?". I shook my head and we both laughed again. I can't believe that the plan is put into action now...phase one done. Now time for phase two.
