to say the least, chenle was taken aback, like a lot
jisung has never initiated the hug ever in the past few years they've been friends for

as he was talking, subconsciously, his hug on chenle got tighter and more protective.
chenle could tell that jisung was being sincere, as jisung never had said any of this touchy - touchy - feely kinda stuff.
'it's okay ji.' chenle said cheerfully, he would've probably started crying by now, but he didn't have and tears left to cry after these past few days.

jisung didn't know what it was, but he felt this unknown fondness towards the older - like he'd usually feel fond but this time it feel different.
everytime chenle would touch him or look him in the eye, he felt his heart rate pick up, after all he is his best friend.
