THE SECRET TUNNEL

STUCK

Maven and the girl got stucked in the holy forest.

The girl tried everything she could but all to no avail

"We are gonna spend the night here" She said

"But where" Maven asked

The girl then used palm fronds to make an hut and then she put shield over it.

"There it is" She said

"Woah this is great" Maven said and fell into the hut..

Maven slept off while the girl went to get what they would eat.

As she slept, she had a bad dream and woke up with a scream.

"What is it" The girl asked

"I saw war" Maven replied

" How many did you see" She asked

"I saw 9,100 wars" Maven said

"And how many did we win" The girl asked with curiosity

"ONE" Maven replied

The girl was shocked to hear that

"Okay now get back to sleep and rest because tommorow is a big day" She said with a smile

I went back to sleep still contemplating on my dream.

When we woke up the next morning, we were surrounded by some group of warriors.

"What do you want" The girl asked boldly

"You intruder! You are supposed to be begging" Their leader replied.

The man then ordered for the girl to be beaten.

They took hold of her and started beating her but Maven couldn't watch her been beaten.

And with tears in my eyes her shouted " Leave her alone".

When Maven opened her eyes, they were nowhere to be found.

Maven was surprised. Then the girl stood up with injuries and told her " Good job. Now let's move"

The girl led her to the front of the holy forest and gave thanks to the gods.

Then, they left for the tunnel
When she got to the place where the bushes were, with full strength and power, she tore the bush apart.

Maven wasn't even looking.
She was still thinking of how she did that when the girl shouted

"Come on, let's go"
