THE SECRET TUNNEL

THE VISIT

"We are gonna go to my godmother's place" The girl said

"Where is that" Maven asked

"Just a few steps from here" She said

"Here we are" She continued

The house was made of mud and animal dungs but the inside was of more beauty than the outside.

"Let's go in" The girl said

Maven slowly and shyly followed her

She was suprised to see such a house because she has never lived in it but today, she will.

When Maven entered inside, the girl and her godmother were already seated and talking

"Who is she" Her mother asked

"Our saviour" The girl replied

"Saviour!" Maven thought

"Oh I see" The woman said

"Mother, please we really need protection, the girl came from the earth to help us" She said

"Come closer" The woman said to Maven

As Maven went closer, the woman went close to her forehead and touched it.

Then almost immiediately, she removed it and gasped from fear.

"What is it Wise one" Maven asked

"I need to talk to you" The woman told the girl and excused themselves.

"I see no reason why I cannot be involved after all it was about me" Maven thought

"This girl is a powerful girl and just as you said she would really be the saviour" The woman told the girl

"But she has to be protected because the evil ones are alerted that someone is coming to destroy their world" The woman continued

"I saw all kind of creepy things, bloodshed and screams from your world. So please, beware" She concluded

When the girl went out to meet Maven, her face had turned white but she managed to say

" We are gonna spend the night here"

"That's cool" The girl replied

But from the look of the girl's face, you would detect she isn't happy.

Maven was a worried about that but was so tired to think about it so she slept off.

"Protect the girl" The woman sank another warning into the girl's ear.
