Petrus and Catherine were married for more than 40 years, with Catherine passing at 1623 and Petrus several years earlier. There was no record of his death, possibly because he was not considered a human worthy of a burial. He was last mentioned at the Christening of his grandson in 1617 and an estimated guess of his death at 1618. The couple had seven children and 4 of the children, who were affected by the syndrome were sold to the upper class people as pets.
