chapter 1

Bryan sighed as he stared up at the ceiling of his containment cell. At the moment, he was not allowed to leave the containment cell unless he was visiting another scp. The reason that he wasn't allowed to leave the containment cell, is because of something that happened 1 month ago.

One of the newer scientists had ignored the warning about giving Bryan too much sugar, and well...
Let's just say that a lot of people had burn marks on them, the scientist was moved to a different facility, and they had to renovate the cafeteria as it was almost burned to a crisp.

The only reason he got in trouble for that is because he knows how much sugar he had that day, since Mario told him, and he knew that he shouldn't have accepted the chocolate bar.

Mario had visited whenever he could, which wasn't often. Cassie wasn't allowed to see him yet, as per the O5's orders because she might have tried to stop Mario from checking him as much as he was, and he also had new scientists under his metaphorical wing.

Bryan was extremely nervous and even a bit scared of today, but was still excited at the same time. His grounding was finally ending and Mario would be introducing him to the rest of the group, which is what he was nervous and scared about.

Cassie, Jakey, and Kay were all confused when they saw Mario. He seemed to be a mix of excited and giddy. Cassie has never seen Mario act like this, which surprised the two new scientists as they would have expected Cassie to know about this.

''What's got you so excited?'' Mario turned back towards Jakey, who had asked the question.

''We're going to visit my favorite scp today.'' Jakey looked towards Cassie who shrugged.

Mario led them to a door that required a level 5 keycard to open. Mario pulled out his keycard and opened the door, motioning the others inside. He lead them down a hallway and stopped outside of an Euclid room, labeled SCP-6372. Mario turned to the others before speaking.

''Now, before we go in, there are a set of rules that you must follow. I'm looking at you Cassie because you're more likely to break these rules than those two are.'' Cassie muttered something under her breath before Mario continued.

''Do not raise your voice, pull out any weapons, or threaten him, as it will cause him to panic and he'll combust, which will cause him to accidentally set the area around him on fire.'' The threaten him part was definitely aimed at Cassie.

''Don't give him any sugar, because if he eats too much, he'll combust and accidentally set the area around him on fire.'' That last part was aimed towards the newbies, since they were more likely to do that.

''Now, before I give the final rule, has anyone heard of the incident that took place quite a few years back where the chaos insurgency had kidnapped a young scientist that I was close to, in order to try get information from me.'' Cassie nodded, along with Kay and Jakey who had overheard some other scientists talking about it.

''Well, they ended up experimenting on him, which turned him into an scp himself. And the O5 council decided that he would be kept as both a scientist, and an scp for his own safety.'' The group nodded, but Kay had a question on her mind.

''What does that story have to do with anything?'' Mario sighed before stating what should have been the obvious.

''The scientist in that story is the scp here.'' Before anyone could respond, he spoke the next rule.

''The final rule, is that I will be going into the room alone. Just to make sure he's ready to meet you.'' Cassie went to protest while Jakey and Kay wanted to say something else, but they all stopped when Mario gave them a death glare.

''You guys can watch from the security cameras.'' They nodded and went up to the monitors watch the interaction between the scp and Mario.

They weren't able to hear what was being said, but Cassie growled when the scp tackled Mario into a hug, as she thought that it was a way of attacking. She was going to go in there when Kay said that they looked like they were having fun. She looked over and saw that the two did seem to be enjoying themselves. After a minute, it looked like Mario was giving the scp a prep talk.

Once the scp nodded his head, Mario gently grabbed his hand before pulling him towards the door. Mario opened the door and stepped out with the scp behind him. His eyes landed on the others and he let out a squeak before hiding behind Mario, which was easy because he was only 2/3 of Mario's height.

The squeak, combined with his size and looks, caused the girls to coo at him while Jakey let out an aww. Mario chuckled before speaking.

''Bryan, this is Cassie, Jakey, and Kay.'' He pointed to his companions as he said their names.

''Guys, this is Bryan... my younger brother.''
