Bryan was curled up on a bed in an unoccupied containment cell. He had been rescued a few hours ago and his body was still extremely sore from the body changing experiments that were done on him, and he wanted nothing more but to sleep.

One of his leaf-like ears twitched as he heard the door to the containment cell open, glancing over and tearing up when he saw his brother, who had teary eyes as he rushed over to Bryan, hugging him tightly as he started to cry quietly.

Bryan froze before sobbing, hugging him back tightly and burying his face in his chest, wrapping his wings around the two of them. The two clung tightly to eachother as the sobbed, not wanting to let go.

Over his sobs, Mario was repteadtly apologizing, saying how it was his fault that it had happened. Bryan was sobbing to heavily to respond, but he was trying to tell Mario that it wasn't his fault.

Once the two sobbed as much as they could, they sat in silence, just embracing eachother until Mario spoke up.

''T-the O5 has decided that, while you will from now on b-be classified as an scp, y-you will still be a s-scientist around the foundation, b-but y-you won't be able to w-work as a scientist until we create a c-containment procedures sheet f-for you.'' Bryan nodded slightly as Mario continued.

''I-I'm also going to be the head scientist in the group that works with you, m-meaning that you should hopefully be s-seeing me quite often.'' Bryan nodded again, looking down as he whispered something to Mario.

Mario froze and paled, looking at Bryan with a mix of fear and anger, the anger not being directed to Bryan.

''P-please tell me you're joking!'' Bryan whimpered quietly and shook his head, beginning to cry softly.

Mario frowned and hugged him tighter, nuzzling him and humming softly.

''I-it's okay. I-I'll tell the O5 c-council and s-see if I can get them to g-get a group to try and f-find them, or a-at least if th-they're alive.'' Bryan whined softly and nodded as he tightened his grip on Mario.

Mario sighed softly and began to pet Bryan's head. Bryan purred softly and leaned into Mario's touch, his tail wagging slightly.

''Sleep little brother. I'll be here when you wake up... I promise...'' Bryan nodded and yawned softly, passing out almost immediately.

Mario smiled weakly before sighing, laying down on the bed and pulling Bryan into his chest. He allowed his eyes to close as he drifted off to sleep, his last thought being of how he would never let this happen to Bryan again.
