chapter 3

Bryan was curled up on his bed, crying softly because of a memory. This memory was not a bad memory, but the reason he was crying was because of who was in the memory.

Marip and Jakey, who were doing to check on Bryan while Cassie and Kayla were somewhere else, both walked into Bryan's containment cell. They didn't notice he was crying until Jakey pointed something out.

''Do... you hear crying?'' Mario froze as he went quiet, cursing silently as he speed walked to Bryan's bedroom.

Jakey frowned and followed him as Mario opened the door to Bryan's room. Mario's eyes went wide and he gasped quietly before rushing over to Bryan, pulling him into a tight hug as Jakey walked in and frowned at Bryan's state.

Bryan clung to Mario and sobbed into his chest, while Mario began to rock him back and forth.

''You had the dream again, didn't you?'' Bryan continued sobbing as he nodded weakly, causing Mario to sigh as he looked at Jakey.

''Do you think you can give us some time alone?'' Jakey frowned and nodded as he left the room, closing the door behind him as he left the containment cell but remained in the room.

After about 20 minutes, Madio returned while Jakey looked at him with worry.

''What happened? Why was Bryan crying?'' Mario sighed and rubbed his head.

''He had a memory... one that's sensitive to him.'' Jakey frowned as Mario continued.

''I won't go into detail but when he was being held captive by the chaos insurgency, the leader made him pregnant and he had quadruplets, which were taken away from him after 2 months...'' Jakey paled at that.

''You don't mean-'' Mario sighed and nodded.

''Yes... he was raped...'' Jakey's hands went over his mouth as he looked at Mario with shock and horror.

''It's been 4 years since Bryan was rescued, and we have no idea wether or not the kids are alive, and it's taken an emotional toll on Bryan...'' Jakey frowned.

''Poor guy...'' Mario sighed and looked at Jakey.

''I have to look at some of the other scps, do you think you can watch over Bryan and calm him down if it's necessary?'' Jakey nodded and said goodbye to Mario, walking into the containment cell.

He walked into Bryan's room and walked over to his bed, not noticing that Bryan was watching him until he sat down in a chair next to the bed. Jakey smiled weakly at him.

''How you feeling?'' Bryan didn't respond, instead getting off of the bed and clinging onto Jakey's arm.

''I hope this doesn't make you uncomfortable, but can you cuddle with me? I usually get nightmares after bad memories unless someone cuddles with me...'' Jakey blushed a bit before smiling and standing up, bringing Bryan over to the bed and laying him down in it before laying down next to him.

Bryan purred softly and cuddled into Jakey before passing out. Jakey sighed softly and pulled Bryan a bit closer, hoping that Mario wouldn't kill him.

After about an hour, his eyes closed and he fell asleep, pulling Bryan a bit closer to him. When Mario went to check on them with Cassie and Kayla, they all cooed at the scene.

While Mario did want to yell at Jakey for getting close to Bryan like that, he knew how Bryan felt about Jakey, not to mention that Jakey probably did it to help Bryan.

''C'mon. Let's let them rest.'' Cassie and Kayla nodded and Mario left the room, closing the door behind the girls once they left the room.
