Taehyung's POV
It has been a week or two since I'm married to this one silly girl. Just like what Jisoo and I have agreed even before the marriage, we don't live together. I get to live in this big mansion all alone. Sometimes Jin hyung would sleep over with the other boys. Jungkook and Jimin decided to settle here in Korea. The others have not yet came by again after the first stay along with Jisoo's house members.
I am now enjoying my self-cooked breakfast waiting for Jin hyung to get me. I hear a honk and immediately usher myself to get inside the car. I sit next to hyung since he's the one driving.
"Why are you driving?" I ask
"No reason" he simply said
"What's my schedule today?" I ask
"Meeting at 9 regarding our new security system, after lunch inspection at 1 pm sharp, and a talk with general surgery department at 3" Jin hyung said
"General Surgery Department?" I ask.
That's Jisoo's department. I haven't properly seen her since 2 weeks. I had a lot of business trips even after my marriage. Maybe she is now forgets that she has a husband.
"Yeah, you'll get to see your wife at 3" Jin hyung teased
"Wife, my foot" I said
I can't wait to see her ugly face.
Jisoo's POV
"Morning assembly!!!" dr. Eun, the head of surgery department said
Eun Jiwon is my brother's friend, so I know him long before I admitted to this hospital.
We all gather and hear our schedules for today.
"... later this day at 3 pm, we will have a chat with the director, if everyone can make it, that will be better... dismiss!" Mr. Eun said
Everyone dismiss but Mr. Eun call for Mino and I.
"dr. Song Mino and dr. Kim Jisoo, I would like to have a word" he said
"Wassup hyung?" Mino said
"Your team did great in the recent surgery, that was tough" dr. Eun said
"Jisoo helped me a lot" Mino said
"Noo, it's just that our team is great" I laugh
"Anyway, sorry I couldn't attend your wedding. Happy wedding Jisoo, tell your brother and Dara I'm sorry" dr. Eun said tapping my shoulder
"If you're sorry, you might want to decrease our number of surgeries this week?" I joke
"How many do you have?" dr. Eun teased me
Aish, I have 10 big cases this week.
"Ah oppa!!" I pout
"Looks like I'll have to camp here?" I said
"Oh! That's not a problem, that's the purpose of lounge isn't it?" dr. Eun laugh
"You're so mean hyung, She's a newlywed and plus Suho's team only got 8 this week" Mino said
"Stop complaining, I know you're happy I attend these cases for your team" dr. Eun said
"AH HYUNGGG" Mino laugh
"You may go now" dr. Eun said giggling at Mino and I
Mino and I, in the end, just laugh it off and enjoy every moment of our works.
Taehyung's POV
It's 2:50 pm now. It's time to head to the surgery department. Jin hyung and I head to the elevator.
"Is ..."
Before I could ask anything, Jin hyung told me everything.
"They checked it. It's in good condition" Jin hyung said
"Why did you always put extra care in elevator?" Jin hyung ask me
"Cause it's important" I said in duh-tone
"Yeah I know. But why?" Jin hyung asks again
"Someone I know is being overly careful with elevators" I said
"Whatever you say"
"We're here" Jin hyung informs
And the elevator made a sound, letting me know that I'm really here.
The nurses and staffs from surgery department all greet me with a bow. I bow back and head to the department's meeting room. I went inside and spot doctors already adjusted.
"Welcome Mr. Kim" dr. Eun greet me
The other doctors stand up and followed.
"Is everyone here?" I ask looking around
"No, our team's head surgeon dr. Kim Suho is not present, he's on shift" dr. Bae Irene informs
"And dr. Kim Jisoo is preparing the O.R. with Nurse Lee Suhyun" Mino said
"Okay then" I said a bit disappointed. I even pulled out my best looks to come here.
"Let's start with all of you's complaint" I said
dr. Eun Jiwon mostly explains me about the discomfort the department has been feeling.
"Okay, anyone else with any other complaint?" I ask
Mino raised his hands
"What is it?"
"I know dr. Eun is being very thoughtful in every schedule he made for both of the teams but I would like to complain about our teams having more surgery than the other for these past 2 months" Mino said giggling looking at dr. Eun's pale face.
Just how much surgeries they have?
"Yes. That is absolutely right. We have 10 surgeries coming up this week, while the other team only has 8. And it is also us who is on ER shift for 4 days while the other team has only 3 days on shift" Jaewon adds
"10 surgeries?!" I'm surprised
"and still counting" Mino adds
I shot a questioning-look to Mino.
"You know, because we're on shift more, the chance of getting more cases is increasing" Mino explained
I can't believe Jisoo has to do all of those surgeries.
"How can the number increase so rapidly?" I ask dr. Eun
Every team has always had 4-6 scheduled surgeries a week.
"Ever since your wife, I mean dr. Kim Jisoo admitted to this hospital many VIPs and Blue House's cases being transferred to our hospital's department" dr. Eun said
I didn't know my wife is really that competent. I know she's being sassy yet low with her achievements, but I didn't know she is this good.
"This is not okay. You'll have to make another team of surgeons" I said
"What are you suggesting?" dr. Eun said
"dr. Kim Jisoo can lead her own team, therefore we'll have 3 teams of surgeons. This solved the problem, right?" I ask dr. Eun
"I'll talk to dr. Kim about this and find her first assistant" dr. Eun said
Mino and Jaewon looks disappointed with my decision, but still I can't let her work that long.
"This case is due in 2 months, I expect a good job from you" I said to dr. Eun
