Aspens pov

"OH COME ON! SHE BARELY TOUCHED HIM!" my coach yells as the ref drags me to the penalty box

"Two minutes" the ref says as he shuts the door

"Two minutes worth it" i mumble

i take off my helmet and flip my braid then hype up the crowd and they get louder soon enough my two minutes ends and i skate out

i get to the bench and sit "Come on Aspen get out there, there are scouts" he mumbles the last part

i nod and jump back in the game, as soon as im out i see Jace has the puck and hes about to get checked

"JACE! IM OPEN!" i yell and sure enough the puck comes in my direction just as he gets checked into the wall

i skate up and pass the puck in and out my legs distracting the other team and shoot as hard as i can

theres only 5 seconds left in the game and we are winning 12-9, everything goes in slow motion and the puck gets in, let out the breathe i was holding as i hear the buzzer

my team tackles me in a hug the crowd goes wild

I take off my helmet and we skate to the locker rooms

we take of our gear and i put on a black crop top, high waisted skinny jeans, all black airmax 97's, and redo my french braids

we all sit on the benches and coach walks in "You guys were amazing out there today, you killed the competition" he says smiling

he looks at me "Aspen, Elijah, and Jace, i have someone who wants to meet you" he says and the team finishes getting ready so i walk to coach and he brings me outside the locker room and i see two men in suits, scouts

i smile at them and shake their hands "You were amazing out their today, if you didnt already know we are scouts. We wanted to offer you 3 a chance to be on Team Australia, to represent the country, the national game is in california. These are files you can show to your parents and discuss this with them" he hands us files "This is a huge opportunity, not alot of people get this opportunity. it was nice talking to you" he says and they leave

we go back to the locker room but i get called out again, i see another man in a suit, another scout... so confused "hello im aspen" i say shaking his hand

"I know, im a scout. I wanted to give you this file, it explains how we want you to be on a team in america... Team USA to represent their country" he says and hands me another file

"But im not from the USA, isnt that illegal?" i say confused and look at the file

"i know your not, and i have a way with people... just trust me. look over that with your gaurdian and think about it, okay?" he says

"okay" i nod and he walks away so i walk back in the locker room

its been 2 weeks since i got the opportunities for the teams. i did alot of research and found out team USA would be better for me and we are currently at the airport

Elijah is hella upset, and jace wont talk to me hes not even gonna say bye to me

"Ill see you in cali" i say and wipe my tears as i hear my flight being called i hug elijah as hard as i can

"See ya there" elijah says i wave and once im about to get on i hear elijah yell "I LOVE YOU"

i smile and yell back "I LOVE YOU TOO"

i get on and sit down
