I looked at my family with a new resolve I'll protect them no matter what. Just let we heard the doors open and watched as Marius, Eliza, and Maverick walking over, I paused I've barely talked to Erik, he's probably Eliza's crush. I waved as they sat down "Frey, you want some alcohol?" As I offered my pint to her she took it and took a small drink. I chuckled as the three new arrivals sat down "Welcome to the table my peeps" Eliza and Marius chuckled as Erik looked uncomfortable Zach noticed it too "Let me guess, you're uncomfortable with large groups?" He nodded "Fear not, we're rarely all in the same place at the same time plus this is the largest our little group gets." He nodded "calm down, delta. We won't kill you yet." As I gave a dangerous smirk until Freyja hit my shoulder "Stop harassing him, I'm sorry about him Erik. He's just protective of his group and likes to haze the newcomers." Erik nodded as he looked at me "Don't worry, Saber. I'm not going to try to hurt your friends." I nodded as I took my pint back from Freyja "Woman I said some, not all my beer. It's been half an hour and you're already starting to drink all my beer." Marius looked at me "So it happened? You did it?" I nodded "And then she kicked my ass." As I leaned on her and she chuckled "You're god damn right I did." I nodded "Legitimately 6 minutes into dating and you make me relocate my arm. You're a bully." She sighed "You agreed to the match, you could've bitch out." I sat upright "You'd think that but like Bet I ain't no bitch." As Zach laughed "God damnit, (F/N) no!" I looked at him "(F/N), Yes!" As Eliza asked "What are you two yellin' about?" As Zach spun on her "last time (F/N) said "Bet, I ain't no bitch" we almost hit the ground in a crash of flame and shrapnel. He only says that when he's about to do something he's probably going to get hurt doing." I saw Freyja and doc just up as I was making my speedy escape to do my plan. I got to the corner about to head to the armory when I heard freyja "(F/N)! Freeze!" I stopped and slowly turned my head towards her with a massive smile as she stared at me and Doc kept coming forward as I slowly stepped around the corner before running into the armory and barricading the door. I looked at the quartermaster "I need a parachute, a leaf blower and roller skates!" He looked at me and nodded running into the back he quickly came back as I took him and said "It's been an honor serving with you" he smiled "You as well sir, do us proud" before I turned and exited out the back door only to have Zach and Monika in front of me "(F/N) buddy, stop what you're doing, I don't want to hurt you but I'll do what I have to to keep you alive." I smiled as I ran up the stairway to the roof kicking off my boots halfway up the stairway once I got to the roof I threw on the roller skates and tied them as I pulled the cord on the leaf blower getting it running before I pulled the chutes rip cord as it tumbled to the ground before I grabbed the strings and pulled them close as the wind caught the fabric and I started picking up speed toward the edge on top of the 3 story base as Zach, Doc, Freyja and Monika got to the roof I heard "(F/N) No!" As my wheels left the roof I yelled "Bet! I ain't no bitch!" Before I started flying away having a leaf blower tucked in between my legs pointed toward the building as I flew away I laughed as I flew "It worked! I fucking knew it would!" I looked below me as saw the pool 3 stories below as I spun staring at my friends on the roof as I pulled my cut cord cutting my primary parachute away and halfway prepping the secondary as I assumed a salute and I fell towards the pool holding the stance as I stopped halfway to the bottom of the pool before swimming to the top Frey's gonna be so mad at me. I got out and laid on the floating sunbathing blow up waiting for them to arrive after 4 minutes of laying there I saw her appear in my sight "(F/N)! That was so stupid!" I smiled "I know, but no one got hurt and it was fun. I get you were scared I'd be hurt but I survived sparing with the Legendary Nøkk, I think I can survive anything at this point." She giggled before she opened her mouth to talk again as my floaty started to spin in the pool "Fuck, hold on.... hang on.....I'll be back around shortly.... I really feel we were connecting there... almost..... almost..... there we are, you were saying?"  She was trying not to laugh as doc, Zach and Monika failed and were dying of laughter "fine I'll cut you some slack this time. Don't do it again" I nodded "Hey Zach, wanna get me dry clothes? Mine mysteriously got soaked." As they all laughed and I joined them as I grabbed a random floating coconut with an umbrella and straw "well that is convenient anyway good to see you're all happy finally, Zach grow a pair and ask her. it'll go great so stop being a bitch" he looked at me "I'm a bitch, huh? Is that it?" I nodded "You can't even talk to her, you's a bitch son." He glared at me as he grabbed Monika and pulled her close kissing her "Does that tell you everything?" She seemed dazed "Ye-Yeah.... uh.... it-uh, it told me alright" I chuckled "You've learned well young padawan, there is nothing left to teach you young mantis...... fuck, every time" as I spun away from them still on the floaty before I got to the edge of the pool "Time to go get dry, Quick Zach say one of your pick up lines you could make the ocean dry." Everyone chuckled as Zach glared at me "Come on bro, let's go." He sighed as I walked over to him patting his shoulder before I spun and tackled Freyja into the water as I emerged from the water gracefully she erupted like a volcano and glared at me "You asshole!" I smiled "You love me" she smirked "Fine you wanna play like this? 1...2...3...4... I declare a prank war!" I looked at her "You're so on! Teams or no teams?" She looked at me "No teams, let keep this honorable" I waded over and extended my hand under water "an honorable prank war." She shook it as I climbed out and then helped her out "tomorrow?" She looked down seeing her soaked clothes and began to shiver since she was cold "yeah, that's good" I took her hand as we walked back inside "I'll meet you at the cafeteria, I'm gonna go change." They nodded as I split off and headed to the dorm I quickly took off my soaked clothes hanging them in the shower to dry before grabbing underwear, socks, grey sweats and a T-shirt throwing them on I sighed before grabbing my sneakers and walking to the cafeteria after putting them on. When I arrived I saw Frey in gym shorts and a muscle shirt I sat next to her "You look good, have you told everyone about my antics?" She nodded with a sigh as Eliza spoke "You're a dumbass" I shrugged as Erik spoke "How do you even get that to work?" I looked at him "NightStalkers make do, delta" he nodded "I've seen, you're the Viper pilot aren't you?" I grew my signature confident smirk "So you've heard of me?" Erik laughed "everyone in American special forces has heard of you, you've saved my life a couple times" I gave him a look "when?" He smiled "Bolivia, when we helped clean up the Ghost's mess and squash the remnants of Santa Blanca." I looked at Zach "Did you know he was there?" He looked surprised "I thought we were just supporting PJs and Raiders" I shrugged as Eliza spoke "So you two inadvertently saved a lot of our lives" I laid down resting my head of the table as I hear Zach "Apparently, I don't think we've worked with rainbow before we joined, but who knows I don't remember working with delta but..." I felt a hand on my back moving in circles as Erik asked "You two together?" I raised a thumb and kept my head down as Frey chuckled "Yeah, this ones mine." I heard Eliza "that's... that's awesome." I spoke with my voice muffled as I said "Zach and Monika are together too." I heard Elias and Eliza "What?" As I spoke again lifting my head this time "Zach and Monika are together too." I heard Erik "about damn time, I had to watch you two strip each other with your eyes and neither of you wanted to tell the other." I chuckled "Imagine my perspective I've had to watch that with 4 girls in the last 18 years. He never tells them because he's a bitch." He looked at me "And what about you? Huh? You take a good amount of time to confess too!" I nodded "Yeah, but atleast I do it!" Frey looked at me "He did tell me himself without being challenged so..." as Zach slumped "Fuck this universe man, y'all together for a fuckin hour and you're already protecting him." I looked at Monika "You know why Monika isn't defending your name?" He looked at her and then me "Why?" As I stared at him "Because everything I said.... was true." He sighed "I hate you, I really do" I laughed "We have to paint our viper today, I'm getting tired of silver." He nodded "it does get boring, doesn't it?" I stood "Shall we?" As he and the rest of the group stood.
