He cannot believe his ears. He is stunned. He is staring at her with tears in his eyes. He takes his hand from her. Wipes his tears. He tries to get up. To go to her.
Mulla stops him with a gesture of her hand.

Kathir looks around as though suddenly realising where he is.
He composes himself.
K- Enaku kovam ila varutham. Varutham kuda chinna vartha athukum mela. Romba valichuthu. Ipa apidiye kaathula parkara maari iruku. Enaku unkita solla neriya iruku.. athu
There is a customer. He unwillingly gets up. Just as the customer leaves jeeva is back and moorthy is with him.
Moorthy- Kathir na bai kadailu pola. Nama milla etho chinna perchanayam. Neeyum nanun poi ena nu pathutu vanthuduvom.
K looking at mulla- Ipave ponum ma na? Kadaila aalu ilaye.
Moorthy- Athan jeeva va Iruka solirken. Mullayum iruku ila. Nee vantha than antha pasanga konjam adangi pesuvanga. Ilana pechu athikamagum.
K mindvoice- Ena da Ithu. Ipava ithalam nadakanum. Evlo mukiyamana vishyam pesitu irukom. Nan vara mudiyathu nu solitama?
K- Anna athu vanthu
M- Neeha poitu vanga anna kupadrar ila.
Moorthy- Ena da aachu. Perchana da anga. Va udane polam.
Kathir looks at Mullai. She nods
M mindvoice- Ponga. Aparam pesikalam.
K goes close to Mulla and without anyone noticing squeezes her hand.
K-Manichudu. Evlo seekarama vara midiyumo avlo seekaram vanthuren.
They leave. Mulla stares after them. Mulla asks jeeva
M- Ethavathu periya perchanaya mama? Adi thadi lam onum ila ila.
Jeeva- Ila ila pa. Antha pasanga konjam valayatu thanama iruthutanga. Etho order maari pochu. Kathir pona pesi samalichiduvan. Nee kavala padatha.
The morning passes with them attending to the shop. Dhanam comes in with breakfast. She even asks Mulla to return home. But Mulla refuses thinking kathir may come back here.
Late in the afternoon kumaresan and Saravanan return. They ask jeeva and Mulla to go home for lunch.
M- Inum avaha varalaye??
Jeeva- Pesituirkahalam. Avangala nera veetuku vara solidren. Neram aaguthu ila. Nama sapada povom. Vanthu neraya vela iruku.
Mulla is reluctant to leave with jeeva. She wants to wait for kathir. But kumresan mama forces her to go.
Jeeva and Mulla gets down at home. Meena sees them both coming together in bike and is furious.
