The July sun shone bright into Aurora's eyes as she pulled her sunglasses off her head and onto her eyes. Throwing her head back against the car seat she groaned,

"Since when did everybody lose the ability to drive?!"

"Woah, road rage sis," Angie laughed through the car's phone system. "Why's the traffic so bad, anyway?"

"I'm trying to get through Trafalgar Square,"

"What are you doing over there?"

"I went shopping in Covent Garden, bought an outfit for Andrea's officiation ceremony."

"Oooh very nice. That's going to be very fancy, Mum's going all out. It's her new baby."

"How's she doing?"

"She's alright, could be better. I think we all knew something like this would happen sooner or later."

"I didn't."

"That's because you're just self-obsessed Aurora."

"Ahh I forgot."

"Anyways how's life as a two-legged person!?"

"It's amazing! I got my crutch off three days ago. And guess what I'm wearing today? Heelsss! I mean, granted, they're just 2 inch platform wedges but still heels!"

"Yes!!! And it's only been what 7 months?"

"Patience is all I needed."

Angie chuckled, "Aurora, you've never had any patience."

Stepping out of her car, Aurora straightened her pencil skirt before picking up her coat and bag and walking towards the lifts.

It had taken two months, six panic attacks, four meltdowns and eight times Nathan had to drag her back into the lift before Aurora could come down into the garage and get in a car.

But they were through it and moving forwards.

Opening the lift onto the office floor Aurora walked over to Sarah's reception desk.

"Hey Sarah, is Nath in his office?" Aurora leant against the desk and grabbed a mint from the jar.

"He's in his meeting." Sarah winked at her.

"Oh my God I forgot that was today!"

Nathan was currently arranging a deal with a Spanish company, planning shipment expansions following the Italian expansion. This deal would make Nathan an international mobster.

"How's it going so far?"

"No idea. The meeting finishes in half an hour."

"Ugh I'll go annoy another Romano then."

Walking into Mateo's office, Aurora sat down opposite his desk.

"So Mat, got a girlfriend?"

"I'm sorry, what?"

"I'm interested. When's the next Romano wedding, 'cause this summers been very boring."

"Believe me, I'm not getting married anytime soon."

"So Izzy's going off to sixth form leaving me with all you boys! This won't work!"

"I'm sure you'll manage. Do you actually want something or are you just bored?"

"Bored."

Mateo chuckled before turning back to his computer.

"So how's... Work?" Aurora tried to remember what it was Mateo actually did but nothing came up.
