"Take off your forehead protector," I ordered. Kakashi complied a few moments later and I set to work.
Present
I finished Kakashi's makeup about an hour later. I quickly ran down the hall to grab a pair of colored contacts for each of us. I handed Kakashi his and told him to put them in. I quickly started doing my own makeup and was done about forty five minutes later. I put my colored contacts in and looked over at Kakashi.
"Anything else?" He asked, sounding done.
"Costumes and hair," I replied, snapping my fingers and waving my hands in a circular motion to open a gateway to one of the rooms back in the palace in Hel. I pulled out a long sleeve white crop top, white short shorts, and shoes for me and set them down before grabbing a white jacket, white pants, and white shoes for Kakashi. I closed the gateway and handed the clothes to Kakashi before grabbing mine and going to change.
"Is this really necessary?" Kakashi called after me.
"Yes!" I yelled back. I changed quickly and ran back to the kitchen with a bottle of hair gel and a comb. I snapped my fingers and waved my hand over the countertop to clear away all the makeup I had used before setting down the hair gel and comb. I heard Kakashi shuffle his feet behind me and turned around.
"Are you sure about this?" He asked uncertainty, a blush forming on his cheeks.
"I am. You remember the dance we used to do as children?" I asked.
"Vaguely but yes," he replied.
"Good. Let's practice a bit once I do your hair. Now sit still for a while more will you?" I asked.
"Please try and be quick," Kakashi replied and sat down. I smiled softly and styled his hair as quickly as I could. Surprisingly, it wasn't all that some consuming. I managed to finish styling his hair in just under ten minutes.
"There," I said once I finished. I walked over to the sink and washed my hands.
"Where are we meeting Lord Hokage?" Kakashi asked.
"The old circus tents," I replied.
"We haven't used those in years," he said.
"It's part of why we agreed to go there," I said.
"We'll have to check the equipment beforehand, Rin," Kakashi reminded.
"I already have clones doing it," I replied, quickly doing a Transformation Jutsu so my hair matched Kakashi's. I saw the memories of the clones a moment later and knew everything was fine with the circus tents.
"They finished?" Kakashi asked.
"Yup. Everything is in place and ready to go," I replied.
"Let's go then," Kakashi said.
"Right," I agreed, heading toward the door. We managed to get to the tents in a few minutes. I sensed three chakra signatures inside and huffed a sigh.
"Took you two long enough," Kushina remarked, clearly a bit irked.
"Forgive us for picking up the habit," I apologized.
"Get on with it," Captain ordered gruffly.
"Hang on a second. You smell that, Kakashi?" I asked.
"Yeah. I can't place it but it's familiar," he replied. I sneezed and covered my nosed.
"Plum trees in your realm always make me sneeze," I said.
"No wonder it's familiar," Kakashi said.
