Your P.O.V

I walked down the stairs looking down as I tucked my white polo shirt into my dark purple skirt. Not an outfit I would have chosen myself, for a school that forces us to wear a uniform they could have made the skirts a little... longer. I looked up as I reached the last stair Marcus stared back at me his shirt wrinkled and his shorts hung off the edge of the stool he sat on. Our mother stood behind the counter, she was looking down at her bowl of cereal but she knew I was standing at the bottom of the stairs. Her long H/C hair was let lose and knotted.

"Good morning." I said approaching the kitchen table and placing my hands on the cold granite.

"I'm gonna give you a ride to school today." Mom said she looked up and I noticed her white laced shirt tucked into dressy light brown pants.

"Are you going somewhere after?" I questioned.

"No." Mom replied simply. "I was just talking to Marcus, and I think you should have this boy come over when you come home." I glared at Marcus appalled that he would suggest this to our Mom.

"Garroth wouldn't like that, he's shy and gets nervous." I said which is mostly true but I felt bad saying it.

"He didn't seem very shy when he had his tongue down your throat the other week." Marcus mumbled, I gave Marcus a look even though he was turned and couldn't see it.

"First off his tongue wasn't down my throat because you walked in before that could happen." I said still glaring at him.

"Garroth gives off small dick energy anyways." Marcus said turning around in his seat to look at me. I snorted a laugh as our mother gave Marcus a confused look.

"Can we just go, and not talk about this anymore." My mother nodded towards me and grabbed her keys off the counter.

                     -----------------------

"Thanks." I said turning to let myself out of the car. My mother stopped me when she locked my door using the button on the drivers seat.

"Come on you can't point out your friends to me so I know the crowd your hanging around." My mom asked. I sighed and looked out the windshield at the courtyard.

"Ok fine," I used my finger to point towards the school fountain where Katelyn, Garroth, Laurance, Travis, and Kawaii~Chan stood. "You see the girl with blue hair, that's Katelyn" My mother has heard tons of stories about Katelyn but has never seen or talked to her.

"She dyes her hair." Mom asked giving me a side eye. I glared right back at her.

"I'm just joking." Mom laughed like it was hilarious but waited for me to keep talking.

"The guy with blond hair," I said, "that's Garroth." Mom nodded without saying anything. "What." I asked uncertain of what her silence means.

"Nothing," Mom said leaning back in her seat. "He's tall."

"Yes I know he's tall, he's also hotter than an oven now why are you so quiet."

"Nothing, just not what I expected." Mom said clearing her throat and then motioning for me to get out of the car. I gave her a look but pushed the door open and jumped out regardless.

I stepped onto the ledge of the fountain in order to squeeze into the space next to Garroth.

"Hey." I whispered not wanting to interrupt the conversation that had been going on.

"Hey." Garroth whispered back only because I had whispered to him. He trailed his fingers down my arm watching his hand instead of looking into my eyes.
