~three days later~
I had been building up the courage to ask Cheryl out. The only issue was I didn't know how to ask her out. I've only ever been asked out, so I have no experience on doing the asking out. Luckily, I knew exactly who to get help from. Veronica. We had been catching up since we were first re-introduced on the chat and going back to how things were when we both lived in New York.
Toni🎶: hey V. Need your help. Urgently
Veronica🛍: yess??? I'm here and I'm listening 👀
Toni🎶: how the hell do you ask somebody out?
Veronica🛍: finally gonna ask Cheryl out I assume???
Toni🎶: shut up...you've only known her and I are talking for like two days...but yes I am
Veronica🛍: thank god. I've been waiting for this moment
Toni🎶: well I'm sorry that I had to build up the confidence...I've never had to do this before...I feel weird
Veronica🛍: weird????
Toni🎶: yeah I mean Cheryl is so beautiful and funny and kind and amazing...she just makes me so soft and I hate it
Veronica🛍: if she has you this whipped now I can't imagine what you'll be like when you're dating 😂
Toni🎶: I AM NOT WHIPPED
Veronica🛍: oh hunny yes you are...you would literally do anything for her. It's pretty fucking obvious

Toni🎶: and how do you know she will say yes???? Like I know she likes me but it doesn't mean she'll say yes...
Veronica🛍: I feel like that's exactly what it means
Toni🎶: but what if she doesn't like the whole long distance thing?
Veronica🛍: I'm pretty sure she likes you enough to not be bothered by that
Toni🎶: really?
Veronica🛍: absolutely
Toni🎶: okay. But back to my original question how the hell do I ask her out? She deserves it to be perfect

Veronica🛍: just say something nice...it's literally that easy
