A child?

part 3

To say things were awkward was an understatement its not everyday you find yourself raising a child with your sworn enemy especially when that child is asleep and so you're forced to talk with your sworn enemy.

"Right so um Malfoy...."
"Yes potter?"

"Well um uh...."

"Oh spare me your poor skills of socializing I'm going to find Pansy"Draco said turning to the door before getting pulled back by Harry

"Potter wha-"

"You don't just make a child with me,drop it off in its room,and go see your friends without talking to me about what we're going to do" Harry said still holding Draco by the wrist.

"Well what if I don't want to know what to do potter!"he said the name with such venom that Harry almost backed off .......almost

"Well then you're going to have to suck it up and deal with it then Malfoy " he said the last name with twice the venom that Draco used Draco however was no griffindor and shivered and the cold use of his name before taking back his wrist and sitting on a sofa.

"Fine potter what exactly do you want to talk about?" Draco said rolling his eyes.

"Are we telling our friends?"

"Of course we are potter it's not like they probably already know since gossip goes through this school as fast as a flying snitch"Draco said mockingly.

"Right sorry that was a dumb question um"

"Look potter I'm bored already now if you don't mind-" Draco tried to get off the couch before chains wrapped around his wrist to keep him strapped to the couch

"What the-"

"I told you you're not going anywhere"Harry said back in his serious tone that showed no emotion

"You don't even have anymore questions!"

"Oh really? Well considering we're allowed to bring him into our classes and we have turns who's going first?"

"You!"

"No I don't think so Malfoy"

"W-what WHY!?"

"If I go first then I'll be taking care of him for 3 days while you only take care of him for 2 days and considering you're the mother-"

Draco looked as if he was about to protest but one look at Harry's ice cold glare and he could tell Harry wasn't having it any other way whether he protest or not

"As I was saying since you're the mother and you already seem to know how to feed him and we can consider this punishment for even thinking about not keeping him I think it's only fair if you take care of him for 3 days"Harry said finishing with a proud smile on his face.

Again Draco tried to protest only to be met with such a cold stare it would've made Voldemort tremble and so he reluctantly nodded

"Great! now then, when we go to the great hall  we can take turns taking him to our table so I'm letting you choose .there's 7 days in a week would you like to take him for 3 or 4 days?"

Draco thought for a minute before coming to the conclusion that he didn't want any son of his spending more time with the griffindorks
"I'll take 4 days" Draco mumbled

Harry looked taken aback but quickly registered his composure
"Alright then then it's settled"Harry said taking out his hand for Draco to shake.

Draco looked at Harry's hand before looking him dead in the eyes
"Can I add a rule potter?"

"Well sure I suppose"

Draco looked at Harry's hand before taking it into his own and looked at Harry's eyes once more
"YOU'RE on night duty"he said before shaking it.
