It was around 2 am and you and Ash were cuddling asleep.

All of a sudden Ashton woke up feeling a small body crawl between yours and his with soft cries and he realized it was your 5 year old daughter, Ella.

"Sweetheart what are you doing awake?" He says whispering to not wake you up. He then picks her up and lays her on his chest.

"D-daddy" she cried softly grabbing onto him tightly.

"Shh baby I'm here what happened?" He says holding her close. "Sc-scary d-dream" she says shaking slightly.

"It wasn't real Ella, it's okay I promise, we need to be quiet we can't wake up mommy" he says sitting up carefully while still holding her.

"How about we go to your room?" He continues.

"N-no" she says still crying. He grabbed an extra blanket off of the end of the bed and wrapped her in it.

He slowly got up holding her and walked downstairs to the couch laying down.

Ashton slowly rocked her and after awhile finally got her to calm down a bit. "Do you wanna tell me what the dream was about?"

"M-mommy a-and d-daddy left m-me" she says holding onto ashton and the blanket tighter. "Baby we would never leave you" he said his heart breaking at her words.

"P-pwomise?" She stutters looking up at ashton.

"Ella I swear. We would never ever leave you" he hugs her tightly.

She nods and cuddles into his chest. A couple seconds later she spoke again sitting up "Im hungry..". "You need to sleep though baby" ashton said sitting up as well.

"Pwease?" She says looking at him with puppy eyes. Ashton sighed and chuckled. "I suppose. But if mommy finds us in the kitchen this late she's not gonna be happy so lets make this quick" he added on.

Ella nodded and got off his lap and ran quietly into the kitchen as ashton followed. "Okay what do you want?" He laughed picking her up and setting her on the counter.

"Cereal?" She suggests and smiles widely at ash.

"Sure" he smiles back at her and makes the cereal helping her eat. She soon finishes eating and he cleans up the mess and carries her back to the couch in the living room.

"Now how about we go back to bed in your room" he says sitting down with her in his lap. "But daddy" she says looking down.

He sighs and moves to the larger part of the couch laying her down on his chest and turning on her favorite movie.

"Maybe we can sleep down here just for tonight" he says tiredly and covering both of them up with a blanket.

She nods and starts slowly falling asleep on his chest sucking her thumb. "Wuv you daddy" she says quietly before falling asleep.

"I love you too" he says rubbing her back. After about an hour of her being asleep and almost falling asleep himself he hears footsteps and looks up seeing you.

"Ash?" You mumble tiredly walking to the couch and laying down on the other side. "Hey baby" he says quietly not wanting to wake up Ella again.

"Why are you guys down here? Its 5 am" You said looking at him. "She had a nightmare and wouldn't go back upstairs. You could have stayed asleep" he says picking her up gently and lightly setting her down next to him.

He slowly gets up coming over to where you were laying down and cuddling up with you. "I can't sleep when you aren't in bed" you shrugged and cuddled up closely to him.

"Aww baby" he smiles. "Here how about you go back to bed and i'll carry Ella to bed and come cuddle. " he added.

You nodded and went back upstairs and he gently picked her up and carried her to bed. After 10 minutes you felt the bed dip and felt arms wrap around you.

"Hey bub" you mumbled turning around to face him. "Lets sleep" he smiles and closes his eyes cuddling even closer to you if possible.

You nod and slowly drift off to sleep.
