Ruki x Reader (sorta angst)

I'm so sorry I haven't been updating!! Writers block sucks...anyways, this is gonna be a bit sad in my perspective. So...yeah....and a bit of OOC

"Hey!!" A young female sits down beside the black haired male "You're Ruki, right?" She asks, beaming a smile at him

No response

The little girl puffs her cheeks and thinks for a moment. "I'm (Y/n)!!" She introduced

The male turns to her with a cold expression and bluntly asks "Does it look like I care?"

(Y/n) pouts "You're cold. Wanna be friends?"

Ruki gives her a confused look "Why should I?"

"I noticed you've been getting bullied because you're an ex-aristocrat..." (Y/n) started, fiddling with her fingers "I want to help. I don't mind being friends with one either."

Ruki frowns and turns away "How can I trust you?"

The little girl stands up and walks in front of him. She reaches out her hand, holding out her pinky finger, smiling "I, (L/n) (Y/n), promise to never bully Ruki until the end of time. I want to be his friend, not an enemy." Her smile gets wider "If you agree, lock pinkies with me. That's what my old friend and I did."

Ruki stares at her hand, reluctantly locks pinkies with her. He stands up and smiles as well

Eversince then, Ruki and (Y/n) became the bestest of friends. (Y/n) would mostly sing Ruki to sleep, they would play with each other very often, and they would protect each other whenever one gets bullied. Unfortunately, not everything lasts. They eventually had to part ways. Ruki was taken by someone named Karlheinz along with Kou, Yuma, and Azusa while (Y/n) was taken to another family

"Promise me this, Ruki," (Y/n) says, using one hand to hold his hand and the other wiping away his tears "When we meet again, let's be together."

Ruki tried speaking, but the only thing that came out were whimpers. He eventually gives up and nods

-Years later-

Ruki walks past the music room and hears a voice singing
