Don't look back

Trapped

Ava opens her eyes and she couldn't remember anything she then realized that she was crucified with ropes in the room where they found the book at. Alex was crucified as well in front of her she was still unconscious, Ava tried to wake her up but Alex didn't wake up.

Ava starts crying slowly until she felt that she and Alex weren't alone in the room. She looks around her in fear looking for anything to help them but she doesn't find anything. She then looks at Alex she got goosebumps as she looked at her as Alex looked up at Ava with her eyes widely open. Ava thought that the demon was behind her she looks back as much as she could as her ability to move had limits. There was an upside-down crucifix she starts to get scared more and more, she looks at Alex again but she finds her floating in front of her still with her eyes widely opened but her hands had black veins and her claws were growing in a strange way and it looked horrible.

Ava closes her eyes and prays she opens them but Alex was in her place unconscious. She starts screaming for help.

" Ben... Hey, Ben wake up." Amelia said. Ben couldn't open his eyes that much. As he opened them he screams from terror as he saw his mother but a huge black figure standing behind her with its hand around her the figure was all black except his face which was shaped in a human face which was of Isabella's face. The eyes were red and widely opened the face was white and the mouth had a lot of scars and she had terrifying teeth they were like vampire's teeth but even longer and sharper.

  Benjamin screams and tries to move but he was roped to the wall. He then opens his eyes and wakes up tied to the wall. And his mother was tied at the wall in front of him.

  She wakes up she couldn't remember anything at all. She asks Benjamin what happened but he didn't have an answer. They tried to free themselves but they failed they kept calling Alexander for help hoping he came back home.

  Ava and Alex hear Ben and Amelia calling for help. Their sound came from their right. Ava calls Benjamin's name. Ben hears Ava and tells her:" Where are you?" she answers:" We are stuck in a room beside you. Help us." they all lose hope for few minutes but then they hear the door being opened from the ground floor. They start calling Alexander's name.

  Alexander and William go in they started hearing noises coming from under them. William tells him:" Do you hear this." Alexander replies:" Yes I hear it clearly. Amelia? Benjamin? Alex? Ava?" no reply came from the ground floor but the noise coming from the basement started to be higher at that moment he realized that they're in the basement.

  He goes to the basement door but it was locked he tried to open it but failed and he couldn't break it as he was injured badly in his hand. So, William tried to break it but he failed as well.

  Alexander tells them to be patient he'll be back snd free them. Alexander tells William that he's going to bring an axe and tells him to stay in the house and try to open the basement door.

  Alexander stops a taxi and goes to his destination. William tries to break the door again but fails. He then decides to go around the house from outside to check if there is a back door to the basement. He finds one but it was closed and had a lot of wood planks nailed on it he goes to get a hammer and comes back and starts removing the iron nails and the wood planks.

  Ava started crying heavily, Alex then asks her:" What's wrong?" Ava answers:" I am the one who put us in this trouble." Alex starts getting confused and asks her:" What do you mean?" Ava answers:" When we moved in on the first night I went downstairs to get something to eat from the kitchen I realized that there was a basement door which we didn't check when we moved in. So, I got down the basement. And I found the chest that had the book in it. I couldn't stop myself from opening it so I opened it I found the book, I opened the book but as I opened it I felt something was wrong and things started falling next to me it was scary I closed the book and put it back again in the chest and got out of the basement and went to sleep on fear when I was sleeping there was always this shadow standing behind the door from outside. The next day when things started happening I realized that I am the one who unleashed the demon as it wasn't in its full power until I opened that book."
 
  Ava continues crying then Alex tells her:" It's okay, we all make mistakes not just you." this calms Ava down. They then suddenly find William coming towards them. They get their hopes back. William frees them and asks them:" Where are Amelia and Ben?" they point to him to the room to their right. It was strange as that room didn't have any entry.

  Alexander then called William. William answers and tells him that he freed Alex and Ava but Amelia and Ben are trapped in a strange room with no entry. Alexander tells him to wait he's near the house.

  Alexander arrives home and goes to the back door for the basement Ava and Alex run at him and hug him. He tells them that everything is gonna be okay. Ava then tells him:" I need to tell you something dad." he replies:" Not now Ava let's help your mother and brother first.". Alexander had an axe for himself and for William he gives it to him and they started breaking the wall of the room. Benjamin hears the breaking sound and asks his mother:" What's that?" Amelia answers in full confidence saying:" It's your dad."

  It took Alexander and William fifteen minutes to break the wall. They freed Amelia and Benjamin he then takes all his family in a big hug and then says:" I promise you all I won't leave you again." and then says:" Now let's go and finish this."

  As they all stand up and start going out from the basement Benjamin stays in his place Alexander stops and looks back he finds Benjamin starting to float the lights suddenly go out and comes back at the same moment. He was possessed his eyes were widely opened and they were all white he was bleeding from his mouth. He was floating in his place then the lights go out again and come back he was on the ground unconscious. Alexander takes him quickly and tells them to get out of the basement fast.

  The clock rings that it's 2 AM. Benjamin wakes up Alexander goes to him quickly and does some praying to him. He asks him:" Are you, okay son?" Ben nods his head saying yes. Alexander smiles and then tells everyone to go and sit at the family table.

  Alexander sits beside him William then Alexander says:" Me and William we got to the research we want. The only way of defeating this entity is by following its book rules and in the end, we will stick a crucifix to it and burn it so that it goes to hell they all agree.

  He gets out the book and the ancient demons book to translate the language. Alexander then opens the first page in the book where it requires a drop of blood to unlock its secrets. He then says:" Is everyone ready?" they all nodded in agreement.
