High School Romance(Steven x F!Reader)

The Gem

Your POV
"How did you control the drinks?"asks Steven.

"Well..." you start, "My parents had just gotten mad again, so I took a walk on the beach."

~Flashback~

You walk along a cold and damp beach.
The low fog blankets the ground
You stop to see a blue gem lying on the sand.

"Hmmm... I wonder how much this is worth," you question as you pick up the gem.

You hold it close to your right eye, inspecting the long crack running down the entirety of the gem.

It starts to glow and you also start to glow.
After it stops glowing, you look at where the gem was in your hand.
It was gone, so you walk to The Big Doughnut.

"Hey, Lars," you say.

"Hey (Y/N), how are yo..." Lars paused, "when did you get color contacts?"

"What are you talking about?" You asked.

Lars just handed you a mirror.
You stared at your eyes.
Your right eye is blue, a vibrant blue they were like the gem you found on the beach.

You got really scared and your right eye started to glow.

"(Y/N)...!" Lars said scared.

"WHAT!!" You yelled.

The drink machine and all the drinks exploded.
You stare back at the mirror as the glow fades away.

You run out returning back to the ocean.
You start to cry not knowing how you're going to tell your parents.

"What am I going to tell them, oh hey mom and dad I found this gem on the beach now my eye glows and drinks explode around me,"  you say laughing half-heartedly.

You then, hear a laugh but it sounded like a watery laugh of a million voices coming from the same person.
You look to the right and you see a blob of water.

"Ahh!" You yelp in surprise, "What are you?!"

"I'm whatever you need?"it said.

"Well, I'd like a friend,"you said.

It then transformed into a little girl with pigtails.

"So what did you want to talk about?" It said with the voice of a little girl still watery.

~The Present~

"It was there until I didn't need it anymore," you finished.

"Wait, when did it leave?" Steven asked.

"When I met you," you said laughing.

You heard your phone dinged then Steven's phone ringed.
You both answered, Charles had asked you on another date.

"Connie just asked me on another date," Steven said.

"Charles just asked me too," you said, "So football tryouts are coming up."

"Ya I'm trying out," he said.

"I might tryout for cheerleading," you said.

"What?!"he laughed.
