Third Person P.O.V

There were a few heart beats of silence between the group as the waiter placed their food in front of them.

"So you're Bo?" Naruto finally broke the silence as he shoved a mouth full of ramen into his mouth

"They one and only, and who might you be?" Bo's curiously eyes the blonde haired boy

"I'M NARUTO UZUMAKI! BELIEVE IT!" His voice boomed through the small ramen shop

"Naruto, do you have to be so loud" Tsunade poked her head out from behind Jiraiya

"Hello Tsunade, long time no see" Bo spoke softly as if trying not to anger the golden eyed women

"Not long enough" She mumbled under her breath as she went back to eating her food

An awkward silence that surrounded them. For what seemed like a lifetime, Bo sat there in silence staring at the food in front of her, the heat from the soup warming the face under her mask. Naruto inhaled three more bowls of ramen before Bo finally broke the silence.

"Why did you come find me Jiraiya?" Bo asked never taking her eyes off the bowl in front of her

"I'm glad you asked Bo. I was hoping that you would join us in our journey back to the Leaf Village"

Bo's head snapped over to the old man, her blue orbs poured into his brown ones. She took a deep breathe before placing her money on the table and standing up from her seat

"No" Her answer was short but her voice never wavered

She turned on her heels and walked out of the ramen shop and headed straight for the edge of the town.

"I told you that she would never come" Tsunade hissed

Naruto and Jiraiya stood up and followed Bo out of the restaurant. They ran to catch up with her, their long strides right on her heels

"What do you mean no!?" Naruto yelled as he made his way to Bo's side

"I mean no. I'm not going back to the leaf village, not now, not ever" Bo stared straight ahead

"Come on Bo, don't be like that" Jiraiya's voice was soft as he looked at her with pleading eyes

"No Jiraiya" Bo said sternly as she weaved through the crowds of people

"I told you Jiraiya, she wasn't worth the time it took us to find her" Tsunade's said as she made her way next to the blond haired boy

"Bo, come on just let us explain. Please" Jiraiya pleaded

Bo remained silent as she walked into the woods that surrounded the town

"You know, seeing you fight I thought maybe just maybe that you had changed Bo. But no you are still the same kid you were when you left" Tsunade hissed

As soon as those words hit Bo's ears she came to a sudden stop. Turning on her heels Bo walked back towards Tsunade who had stopped a few feet behind her. Just before Bo got right in front of her, Jiraiya put his hand on her shoulder stopping her

"Don't you dare assume I am the same kid I was when I left. You don't know anything about me" Bo growled through clenched teeth

"Really? You ran away ten years ago and you are running away again now. It looks to me that nothing has changed" Tsunade's words carried anger as she spoke

"I didn't run away!" Bo raised her voice taking a step closer as Jiraiya's grip on her shoulder tightened

"You ran away from your problems just like you always have!"

"Don't push me Tsunade, ten years is a long time. You don't know anything about me, not anymore" Bo's words were calm as she slowly tilted her up to make eye contact with the women in front of her

The two women stood their ground as they continued to stare at each other. Bo's warm blue eyes became colder by the second as she struggled to keep a grip on herself. After what seemed like an eternity Naruto stepped into between the two women.

"Please Bo, just listen to what we have to say. You might change your mind" Naruto's words came out softly as he tried to release the tension in the air

Bo shifted her gaze down to the the boy in front of her, his blue eyes reminding her of her brothers. She took a step back still looking at Naruto, her eyes softened as she continued to look at the boy in front of her. He stood so strong yet he spoke so softly, in that moment she could see everything that her brother was in this boy. The pure determination in his eyes made her feel like she was ten all over again, waving bye to her brother as he walked out the gates to the leaf village. As these memories flooded her head she could feel her heart tighten. She finally broke her eyes away from him and looked at the ground.

"Fine" Bo sighed in defeat as she turned around and took a seat against a tree

"You mean you'll listen?" Naruto chirped with excitement in his voice

"Yes I will listen to what you have to say"

"Great!" Jiraiya laughed and sat down across from Bo "Now, a lot has happened Bo, but the reason we came to find you is because Orochimaru is back and he plans on destroying the leaf village once and for all"

"He already attacked us once, killing the third Hokage in the process" Naruto sighed

"Sarutobi is dead?" Bo asked in shock of the boy's words

"Yes" Naruto whispered

"We left the village to find Tsunade, the village in all it's wisdom has decided to make her the fifth Hokage. While Naruto and I were convincing her Tsunade to come back with us Orochimaru attacked us, he nearly killed us all. Sarutobi didn't go down without a fight Bo, he left Orochimaru seriously wounded" Jiraiya continued as he wiped the tears from Bo's face

"As much as I would hate to admit it, we really could use all the help we can get Bo. We need the fourth sannin" Tsunade spoke softly unlike earlier

The three sat before Bo waiting for her response. Her eyes were glued to the ground as she brought her hand up to her mask. She slowly pulled her mask off her face feeling the breeze of the night against her skin. She took a deep breath trying to steady herself. She felt an anger bubble inside her thinking about what Orochimaru did, thinking about how she wasn't there to protect the leaf village like she promised everyone she would be. This was her chance to change, her chance to protect everyone she loved like she said she would all those years ago.

"What do you say kid?" Jiraiya's asked

"Okay" Bo said softly

"Wait really?" Tsunade was taken aback by the words of the young girl sitting in front of her

"This time, I'm not gonna run away" Bo pulled her mask backup and rose to her feet

She looked up from the ground with a look of determination in her eyes.

"No more running away?" Tsunade asked as she stepped closer

"No more running away"

"Promise?" Jiraiya asked holding up his pinky finger

"Promise" Bo wrapped her finger around Jiraiya with a smile

"Let's go home guys" Naruto said as he made his way back to town

"Home" Bo whispered to herself as she smiled
