I woke to the whispers of two women. They argued back and forth about something, but I was too tired to open my eyes. I heard the click of the door as it came to a close indicating that the two women had left. I closed my eyes tighter in hopes that sleep would once again take over. After a few minutes of trying to force myself back to sleep with no luck I decided it was time to open my eyes. I slowly fluttered my eyes open, preparing myself for the bright light that my blue orbs would face. I let my vision adjust to my surroundings as I recalled yesterday's events. I felt a pair of strong arms pull my back against their chest, a warm feeling spread through my body as I turned my head to see a sleeping Kakashi. I lightly turned myself in his arms so I was facing, hoping I would not wake him up. I studied his face, his headband was sitting on the nightstand behind him along with his book. The scar that ran across his left eye, hiding his sharingan was the only part of his face that had ever been revealed to me. His black mask still sat across the rest of his face. It took everything in me not to reach my hand up and pull his mask down. I started at him for a few more moments before I laid my head back down on his chest. There was a dull ache in my side every time I took a breath in. I tried to push it away but the longer I laid there the harder it was for me to breath. I didn't want to wake Kakashi so I slowly sat up. I let his arms lay across my legs as I held my chest taking deep breaths in and out

"Are you okay?" Kakashi's voice whispered as he sat up next to me

His words scared me for a moment, he gently placed his hand on me shoulder making me look at him

"Yeah, it's just hard to breath" I smiled weakly

"Do you want me to get Lady Tsunade?"

"No, no I'm okay" I smiled touching his hand to assure him that I was okay

He simply nodded his head and gave me a closed eye smile. He laid back down, running his hand up and down my back as I took deep breaths. The feeling of his hand rubbing my back made a sense of calmness wash over me. I closed my eyes just relishing in the moment, the simplicity of he and I. Silence engulfed the room as I relaxed into his touch.

"Bo, can I ask you something?" Kakashi ripped through the quietness

"Sure" I nodded

I turned around so I was facing his masked face, I pulled my legs to sit in a criss cross position. He pulled himself up, resting his head in his hand as he looked at me.

"How did you get all those scars on your back?" His dark eyes poured into mine

I felt my body tense at the question, I knew I'd have to explain them one day but I didn't think it would be so soon. How did he even know about them?

"H-how did you-"

"Last night, when you were at the front desk talking to Tsuande. Your back was facing the entrance and when I walked in I saw them" I could here the anger in his voice as he struggled to keep his cool

I thought for a moment before remembering that I didn't have a shirt on when I walked into the room last night. I looked down at my hands thinking of what to say to him. There was no point in lying to him, but I didn't really know how to tell him everything that happened. I tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear before bringing my eyes to look back at him. I looked at him seeing the way concern laced his face, I shook my head lightly and looked back at my hands.

"Bo, please" I felt Kakashi's hands wrap around mine "Talk to me"

I took a deep breath and looked up at him once again

"Uh when I was training with Moko-sensei I did a couple of missions for her, to repay her for letting me train under her. I was on a mission and things went wrong" I whispered
