red. the blood that trickled down when you dragged the blade
the only thing you could controlorange. the minuscule pills you bought from the pharmacy
swallowing them down to leave the pain for just a minuteyellow. the dots swimming around in your vision
after inhaling drugs that gave you false felicitygreen. the stain on your dress when you passed out on the doorstep
after downing ten drinks too many to drown your sorrowsblue. your ethereal face when addictions spiraled
collapsed on the floor with a halo of spilled liquid around your headpurple. the blurred sirens wailing in the air
an impossible race against time to drag you away from Death's graspwhite. the sterile sheets drawn over your pale body
a rising and falling line that tells the story of your lifeblack. the hurricane whirling through my shattered mind
as you glide through the gilded gates of the unknowndid you know?
every time you spin the color wheel,
a little bit of color is stolen from you
until i have to spin it too.you painted me with color,
but the hues swirled together.in the end
we just suffocated in black
and fading shades of gray.
