i thought i was perfect
until i didn't offer my hand
when your peaceful demise
violently tilted upside down.
oh, it's so cold under the waves.
don't drown me again.
please let go of me
as it was never meant to be.
i forget how to love myself sometimes,
but i keep on trying
& that's a defeat for my demons.
an infinite victory.
