Kitsune nodded his head in approval as he watched the jonin and ANBU fight the three headed snake that attacked the Western gate. His tracker team had already infiltrated the civilian safe houses and several teams were in stadium aiding the jonin. He knew his clone was sent to find Sasuke who had went after the Sand genin, and Konohamaru and his friends were taken to a safe house that had already been cleared of intruders. Kitsune's eyes traveled to that purple barrier that stood out from the rest of the exam stadium. He narrowed his eyes as he disappeared from the tower.

Within minutes he was standing in front of the purple barrier. He hummed to himself as he inspected the barrier. The solid structure was made with purple flames and looking at the charred body on the ground, he deduced that it would burn you alive if you touched it. 'Four Violet Flames Formation, eh?' he said to himself, identifying the type of barrier ninjutsu being used. He hadn't sensed any seals, so he automatically deduced it to ninjutsu. His eyes traveled to the two of the four people holding it up. He noticed orange solid barriers were around them, creating a secondary barrier he assumed was for their protection. To bad that it wasn't going to last long.

Kitsune pulsed chakra into his seal, using a sealing matrix of his own creation to summon the two operatives he would need for this operation. Seconds later, operatives Neko and Tenzo landed beside him, wait for his command. Team Ōkami would be arriving in a few minutes to provide back up. He only hoped that the Old man was holding up well. Someone needed be here to keep this village going.

"I'm going to break the barrier." Kitsune stated, shocking his subordinates, but they remained silent. "I need you two to handle the four casters. Team Ōkami will be here soon to assist." he said.

Tenzo and Neko nodded as they looked back at the barrier. Kitsune stared at the barrier once more before he brought his hands together. The barrier had an elemental factor to it meaning that he had to provide an counter element to his seal. He closed his eyes and did a snake and dog seal before going through a few seals before pressing his hand onto the barrier. The operatives were shocked that the purple flames didn't consume them. They got into a defensive stance and prepared themselves to pursue when their commander finished.

"Fūinjutsu: Barrier Disruption!" he yelled as he slammed his hands into the barrier.

Nothing happened for a moment. It wasn't until Kitsune pulsed his chakra into the seal that barrier cracked and shattered like glass. As soon as the barrier fell, Tenzo and Neko made their move. They both went in opposite directions, making a beeline toward their targets. The Sound shinobi were shocked as their barrier fell and had subconsciously released their own secondary barriers. The two shinobi that were closest to the officers where the first to be met with a strike to their temples. They barely had time to register what was happening as they found themselves dodging and evading a series of attacks.

While they fought the Sound ninja, Kitsune walked through what used to be a barrier. He could sense the Hokage's and Sannin's chakra. He could also sense a seal. He narrowed his eyes at that. Something wasn't right. He could tell that the seal was S-rank in nature and when he thought about it, his eyes widen. He disappeared in a blur, knowing what was happening.

Hiruzen panted as he had just created a mud wall to block the Second Hokage's water jutsu. He couldn't believe it. His former student had just summoned the dead using the forbidden reanimation jutsu. He inwardly sighed at how far his student had fallen. Seeing the hate and resentment he held for him both disappointed and saddened him. He had tried to reason with the boy now turned man. He tried to get him to understand and be better than what he had came from. But in the end, he chose the dark path that he had tried to prevent him from taking. He couldn't help, but feel like he had failed his student and blamed himself for his defection from the village. He was pulled from his self-loathing when his former sensei attacked him with a water jutsu from behind.
