Follow Naruto and the gang as they continue to live their lives after they have seen their future.
What will they do, now that they have seen what was to come? Will things remain the same or will this group of genin change things for the better?
"The Fifth Hokage?!" a loud voice exclaimed at a small restuarant in Tanzaku Gai.
Tsunade nodded with a small smile on her face as she looked at the small blond child that was sitting next to Jiraiya. The boy had slept for two days after their battle with Orochimaru and had woken up this morning ready and active. She heard Shizune lightly giggle at the jinchuriki while Jiraiya simply smirked. Things definitely hadn't been the same without the genin.
Naruto crossed his arms and sighed. "Old Lady Tsunade is the Fifth Hokage starting today...." he said.
"What, you look disgruntled, Naruto." Jiraiya said as he placed a hand on his chin.
Naruto turned to Jiraiya with squinted eyes. "After all, compared to the old man, the Third Hokage, there's something....rough-natured and kind of selfish, loose with money, catty and stupid." he said with Tsunade's eyes narrowing further and further. "Somehow, I'm going to worry if she can do it properly."
"Uh, Lady Tsunade, would you like to order something..." Shizune suggested with a closed eye-smile and sweat-drop.
"Moreover..." Naruto continued as he looked at the ceiling. "a 50 year old lady transforming into a young lady. Is it okay for the person who will become Hokage to lie to everyone, I wonder...?"
A veined formed on Tsunade's head as she reached over the table and got into Naruto's face. "Go outside, brat!" she said causing Naruto look directly in the eye.
Before she could catch the tinge of pink that threatened to dust his cheeks, Naruto stuck his nose up at her, making her lip twitch in annoyance. Jiraiya looked over at the boy and sighed. 'It's just like before....' he mumbled to himself. Everyone got up from the table and went outside. Tsunade and Naruto got into their respective positions, facing toward each other just like last time. Tsunade almost wanted to laugh at the determined expression on his face.
"Despite how I look, I'm going to be the Fifth Hokage." Tsunade started with a smug, but confident smile on her face. "I shouldn't take this short brat of a foe seriously...."
Naruto gritted his teeth but didn't say a word. He was going to show her this time. Believe it!
Tsunade held up her pointer finger. "This one is enough..." she taunted.
"Oy, don't call me brat!" Naruto said. "I may be like this now, but I'll be Hokage some day!"
Tsunade paused at this before a small smile formed on her face. Neither person said anything as wind blew dust throughout the clearing. At the small oink of the little pig, Naruto charged.
"Here I go!" Naruto said as he went in for a punch.
With a smile, Tsunade easily ducked under his punch, causing Naruto's eyes to widen. Using a kunai, she performed the same action as last time, sending it flying into air while removing his hitai-ate. Naruto was stumbling back when he saw Tsunade preparing to flick him again. 'Another brow flick?!' he thought as he closed his eyes, preparing for the flick that never came. He suddenly felt a pair of soft lips press against his forehead and gentle fingers holding up his chin. He couldn't even help the red that began to dust his cheeks.
