Poseidon's Lost Daughter

Chapter 25

Lily's POV
I made it to shore throwing off my mask and readying my weapon as I sneak in a random direction to find where Percy and my friends are. It was interesting that Luke had decided to stay on the island amusement park. I hide behind a beam to a rollercoaster and scouted the area. I looked around to see my friends tied around some old beams. Around them is a guard standing by on watch, so they don't try to escape. I looked over to the other side to see Kronos' Box along with Luke and his minions. It seamed like he really didn't want anything to go wrong as his precious beast, the Manticore, was running around. If I moved an inch towards Percy, it would know. So I decided to stay in the shadows of the forgotten park.

Hiding a way in the shadows was easy. Not being able to hear what Luke was saying to Percy and my friends was the hard part. I knew all of them were smart enough to get out of their bonds. I wasn't worried about them. I was worried about what was about to come out of the box. I moved toward the box in the shadows trying to get as close as I could without being noticed by anyone or the beast. 

I watched as Luke had the fleece in his hands and started walking towards Kronos' Box. My grip on my weapon tighten. It's show time. As Luke got closer, I could hear him speak.

"Lord Kronos." He said. My breathing hitched. I didn't know why, but all of a sudden I got nervous for whats to come. Whatever came out of that box, I felt like we could handle even if it felt bigger than any of us demigods. The Gods. Poseidon. My father said we were destined for great things. I believe that they would not of left this to our own devices if we couldn't handle it. I was more nervous about after. About what to do with Luke. He deserved what was coming to him, but like I said before he will probably tug at my heart as a guilty pleasure. Luke was my responsibility for this fight. "Rise!" Luke said has he draped the fleece on the box.

At first the fleece did nothing, making me almost hope it wouldn't work for Luke's sake, but then it started glowing. The magic was working as gold swirls started to work around the box. Luke admired it as it glowed, but movement from the side took my eyes away from the box and to my friends. They had gotten out of their bonds just like I knew they would and started fighting Luke's minions. I look for Percy to see that he's coming in my direction, more importantly Luke's direction. 

Percy ran up and tackled Luke to the ground catching him off guard. They wrestled on the ground finding their way to their feet. Luke started to get the upper hand over Percy as he wrapped him around around his neck choking him. I started running towards my brother.

"You can breathe underwater Jackson, but can you breathe like this?" Luke said smugly at Percy. I was so close. Luke picked up Percy's sword next to him and threw Percy to the ground. He aimed the sword at Percy with a deadly look on his face. Luke's arm swung back and I grabbed his arm just in time. I hit the blade out of his hand with my weapon and swooped under him with my leg taking his legs out underneath him. I pointed my weapon at him as he was on the ground. 

"Surprise." I said smugly rubbing it in his face. The look on his face was the look mixed emotions. Obviously surprised, but yet almost relieved that I wasn't dead. To late Luke. You cannot take something back once you've done it. That arrow sealed your fate.

""Lily. How did y-." He started to say, but I cut him off. "Daughter of Poseidon. The water healed me, and with some help from my father I made it here to stop you."

"You didn't stop me. Kronos is rising!" He screamed pointing over to the glowing box. I looked over to see the box come alive as massive boulders start flying around creating a giant monster. Kronos. I looked over to Percy, who had his blade in his hand, and started running after Kronos with the look of determination on his face.

"I may not of stopped you from raising Kronos, but I know Percy can stop him. I am here to put an end to all of your dark desires. You will pay for your crimes. You will answer to the Gods." I stated. He gulped and tried to get up off the ground. I pushed him back down with all my might. I smashed his head with the blunt side of my weapon and knocked him out cold. He wasn't going to be moving for a while. I leave him on the ground and run after my brother.

My weapon wouldn't go through Kronos no matter what I did. I hit and beat on his legs, but no matter what I did. Nothing worked. I watched has Percy made it up to Kronos on his hand.

"You wanna know who gave me this sword?" Percy screamed at Kronos. "The God who killed you with it in the firs place, my father!" Kronos laughed.

"Percy Jackson. Your destiny was written long ago." Kronos said and then he crushed Percy with his hand giant. 

"NO!" Annabeth and I screamed. We watched as the hand glowed and then busted open as Percy cut Kronos' fingers clean off and stood tall.

"I make my own destiny!" Percy screamed as her ran up Kronos' arm and jumped as he struck Kronos with his blade making it sink deep in his thick build and drug the sword down his body. 

Kronos roared in fury as blue came out of the wound. Kronos started crumbling down as Percy slide down his body with the blade ripping right through him. Percy landed in a super hero type of way breathing hard watching Kronos fall, defeated.

Im back readers! I am moving swiftly to get this, my first every piece, done and over with after many years of starting it in the first place. I hope I still have some loyal readers who have stuck by me in the end, but I am not doubting anyone has after 4 plus years. Surprise me if so! Thank you for all the reads, likes, and comments. Such a pleasure it try and finish this piece. It may fall to some expectations to some, but it is my story (all credits deserved to those who do) and I am twisting it to my own path.
