i can look in the mirror
and not cry now.
i can sit under the stars
and smile now.i can listen to your favourite song
without choking up.
i can laugh at the jokes
you told me once.i can comb my hair
and not think of your hands.
i can choose my dresses
for dates with other men.i can sleep at night
and not wake up with tears,
every time my hand touches
the side that was once yours.i can think of you
and i can not sob.
i can tell people of your wonders
and how you made time stop.i can be in love with others
and still love you.
i can count my blessings
and include you too.
