that the car breaks were wrong,
or that you'd end up stuck in a bough,
then i would have only prolonged
letting you drive to that store.if i had known,
i would have kept you close,
here, by my side, for however long.
and i know
i wouldn't have blinked an eye
before
before trading places with you
if only to have you safe and sound,
for sure.oh, what i wouldn't do to trade places with you.
