Lexi shot a glance at Bea, smiling at her. For once in her life she felt calm, like she melted into the perfect life. Even though her life had been great before she'd met the brunette, it felt complete with her. She'd only ever had the voices. Now she had Bea.

Bea helped her everyday. They had known each other for about a year now and she had even kind of confessed her feelings towards the other girl once. Ever since then they had been closer than ever.

Well tonight was different. Bea and Lexi were taking their normal walk on the city rooftops when Bea stopped. She looked a bit nervous. "Lexi. Can I ask you something?" She asked Lexi.

Lexi turned to smile at Bea. She always felt whole with Bea around. Even though the brunette didn't like everything Lexi did. She tilted her head slightly. "Of course, Bea. What is it?" she asked.

Bea looked up to smile at Lexi. "Would you like to be my girlfriend?" she asked.

Lexi blinked in surprise. Was this really happening? Was this a dream? This felt like a dream. She didn't deserve Bea. But Lexi just smiled and nodded. She leaned forward to embrace Bea in a hug. "Yes! Oh, yes! Of course, Bea!" She said with delight.

Bea smiled and hugged Lexi back. They both stood there in the moonlight. Nothing could ever ruin this. This perfect moment.

Lexi then pressed her lips to Bea's. She had been waiting forever. Waiting to kiss Bea. Waiting to be with her like this, forever. She just didn't want to push her away. Lexi pulled back to smile at Bea again. Her eyes sparkled. "Now, do you want to go find and kill stray animals?" she asked. She knew Bea didn't like killing people.

Bea sighed and she looked conflicted. She didn't want to ruin this moment so she agreed. "Sure. Let's go, my Tiger."

Lexi's eyes shone at that comment. She would have to come up with a nickname for her now. But that would come later. She slipped her hand into Bea's before they skipped away into the night.
