~38 Practical Exams, Begin!~

First Person POV

When we arrived for the beginning of the practical, we were greeted by not only Mr. Aizawa, but a group of your other teachers as well. "Now then, let's begin the last test," Aizawa said to all of us. "Remember, it's possible to fail this final. If you wanna go to camp, don't make any stupid mistakes."

"Um," Jiro said, raising her hand. "Why are all the teachers here?" I'd been wondering the same thing. If we'd be up against robots, why would we need so many spectators?

"I'm sure you all have gathered information and believe you have some idea of the challenges you'll be facing today."

"We're fighting those big old metal robots!" Denki shouted.

"Fireworks, s'mores! Here we come camp!" Mina joined in.

"Actually," A small voice that was slightly muffled said. "This year's tests will be completely different for various reasons!" Out popped principal Nezu from Mr Aizawa's scarf.

"Principal Nezu!?" Me and a few others exclaimed. "What do you mean changing things?"

"The tests now have a new focus my dear," He said as he climbed down Aizawa's side. There will be hero work, of course. But also teamwork and combat between actual people! So, what does that mean for you? You students will be working in pairs and your opponents will be one of UA's teachers! Isn't that fabulous!"

'We're...fighting the teachers? Is that really such a good idea?'

"Your teammates and opponents have already been chosen by myself based on strengths, weaknesses, grades, and your relationships with each other. Though do to some overwhelming factors, we will have one trio of students." Aizawa explained to us all.

"But sir," I said, raising my hand. "There's an even number of us. Why do we need a trio?" Aizawa turned to look at me, a small grin playing at the corner of his lips.

"Because you, [F/N], will be working alone."

"Alone?"

"Yes. The decision was not solely mine but rather a unanimous decision of UA's staff. The last bit off information I will be giving you is that you will not be up against a teacher."

"Now how is that fair?" Uraraka chimed in. "[F/N] is the only one who doesn't have a partner! Plus she won't know anything about her opponent. That's not fair at all."

"Uraraka, may I ask you, is hero work "fair"?" Aizawa sighed monotonously. "Is innocent people getting injured or even killed because of villains "fair"?"

"N-no but-!"

"No buts. I will not speak of this matter any further. Now, for your groups:

1. Kirishima and Sato vs Cementoss,

2. Asui and Tokoyami vs Ectoplasm,

3. Iida and Ojiro vs Power Loader,

4. Yaoyorozu and Todoroki vs myself,

5. Aoyama and Uraraka vs Thirteen,

6. Ashido and Kaminari vs principal Nezu,

7. Shoji and Hagakure vs Snipe,

8. Sero, Jiro, and Mineta vs Midnight,

9. Midoriya and Bakugo vs All Might,

And finally, [F/N] vs her opponent who will be revealed at the time of the match. Any questions?"

"I have one, why didn't I get a group?!" Present Mic whined.

"Because she didn't think this through." Aizawa sighed looking up to the sky.
