"Hey Babe!" I said, as soon as Nine answered my phone call.

"Hey." He said.

"I didn't see you at the campus today, I even went to your faculty."

"Yeah, Uh.. I have to go to the doctor." He said and make me suddenly worried to my boyfriend.

"Are you sick? Why Didn't you tell me? I'll go visit to your dorm later after we finish the hazing meeting early na."

"No. You don't need too."

"I just went for some annual checkup and shots."

"Ohh. Okay." I said, a bit relief.

"When will your meeting starts?"

"We're still waiting for p'Phoom."

"Ohh."

"Yeah. Have you ate dinner already?"

"Yeah I just finish."

"Good." I nod as if he can see me.

"Uhm, Joong." Nine called, I really like it when he calls my name with his soft voice.

"Yeah?"

"Can I ask you a question?" He asked, and I just hummed.

"How much do you love me?" I heard a bit crack in his voice.

"What kind of silly question is that P'Nai."

"You know I love you more than anything in this world." I said smiling.

I just heard him hummed.

"What makes you asked?" I asked him.

Silence.

"Is there something wrong?" I asked now bit feeling worried and weird out because p'Nine is not the type of guy who always crave for those three words.

"Uhm, no. Nothing at all." He said, but I feel like my guts is telling me that he is lying.

Before I ask him once again he then asked.

"How much do you care about me?" I don't know why but I felt like my chest hurts.

"P'Nine-"

"Just answer my question please,Joong."

"I would give you the world in a heartbeat if I could."

"You would?" He asked as if confirming if I'm serious.

"Yes of course I would." I said, getting more and more worried.

"Would you die for me?" P'Nine asked.

"I would take a bullet for you any day P'Nai."

"Really?" He asked, and I don't know why I felt sadness with the tone of his voice.

"Yes." I stated. "Just for you, I will."

Silence.

"Babe." I called. "Is there something wrong?"

"No. I'm fine- you're fine, we're fine. Everything and everyone is fine." He said, sounding more like convincing himself than convincing me.

"Uh, Joong I have to go now. I'll see you tomorrow." Sounding in hurry he said.

"Oh, Okay."

"Always remember that I love you."

"I love you too, bye." He said then hang up.
