The Goal

To close, I'd just like to stress the importance of the goal in writing as a Christian. 

Our goal is not to gain reads, votes, comments, popularity, or followers. Even though we all would like to attain those things, it just isn't the goal, nor should we prioritize those things more than we do the end goal.

If it's fear of man keeping you from the goal, get into God's Word and know that His opinion is all that matters. Man can't do anything to your soul, and your soul is what's important. We should show how much our soul, our faith, our morals--etc--mean to us through our writing.

Christian, don't compromise. Don't compromise God in order to make yourself look better--that's idolatry. Put God first in everything, including your writing. No, your story does not have to be Christian in order to glorify Him. Just don't compromise. It's not worth it.
