Charles' POV

After that incident I went to my room and let tears stream down my face. I lost my best friend...he left me like he never cared.

I wiped my tears away and called for Hank to help me into bed. I lay down on my bed as Hank walks out.

"I'm really sorry Professor," Hank said turning back. I gave him a fake smile.

"It's okay, I would have to see him anyways..." I said looking away. I heard him walk out so I closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

___

I woke up but didn't open my eyes. I felt myself being lifted off my bed. There were two hands around my body pulling me upwards. I still remained still with my eyes closed, I wouldn't be able to get away anyways. I tried to open my eyes anyways though, but I found myself not able to. What is happening?

I heard someone mumble something. I couldn't quite tell what it was though. I moved my head slightly and whoever was carrying me froze. After a while they started moving again. I felt my self then floating on a cold surface that slowly brought me to the ground.

I stayed there for a while and heard something sounding like someone climbing down a ladder. I nuzzled my head into my blanket and tried to fall asleep.

I then felt a hand ruffle my hair. I still found myself unable to open my eyes.

"Don't worry I'm taking you home Charles," I heard someone say. I couldn't recognize it though. My hearing seemed to be distorted. I then felt a sharp pain in my arm. I wasn't sure what it was. I then felt myself getting really tired and I couldn't move. Then I fell asleep again.

___

I woke up in a quiet comfy bed. I opened my eyes and saw the light filled room. I tried to move but I remembered my legs...dang it. I sat there for what seemed like hours. I then saw the door open.

Before it opened all of the way a voice said, "Charles?" It was all too familiar.

"Yes," I replied. Then the door opened and in came Raven. Her blue skin and her new shape made me wince. I wasn't expecting to see her in her true form. I wasn't even expecting to see her.

"Raven?" I asked. Her expression changed from innocence to anger.

"That's not my name anymore!" She snapped. I was taken aback. She has never snapped at me like that. There was a pause of silence. It gave me a worse feeling sitting in silence than when Raven snapped at me.

"Whats going on?" I heard a voice down the hall. The voice sent shivers down my spine. The person walked in and looked at me straight in the eyes.

Erik.
