read the authors note at the end please!!

We spent the rest of the day at the beach basking in each other's company and the warm sun. I had the people that I loved the most around me, making my heart feel full.

Currently we're in my apartment, getting ready to leave to meet the rest of our families. Of course, we were running behind because Harry was unable to be decisive and choose which suit he wanted to wear.

"Okay love, it's between these two. Which one do you like more?"

He pulled two hangers out of my closet, as a few days ago I cleaned out half of my wardrobe and drawers so he would be able to unpack his clothes.

One of the suits was a dark navy colour, accompanied by a deep red tie. It was nice and probably more expensive than my apartment, but I thought the second option was better. The second suit was a dark shade of red with black floral detailing peppered around it. The flowers were lace, and the dress shirt that he had paired with it was a simple black colour with a black bowtie.

"I like this one more, plus it matches my dress,"

One thing I loved about Harry was the fact that he wasn't afraid to show his more feminine side, especially when it came to his outfits. I loved that he felt comfortable enough with himself and the people around him, to wear what he wants.

"Thanks baby. Give me ten minutes and I'll be ready."

"You said that ten minutes ago Harry," Ashley huffed from outside the bedroom door.

I laughed and left the room so Harry could get ready. Ashley was sitting on the couch scrolling through her phone.

"Thanks for spending time with me Ash. We'll have to do this again before I leave, did you have fun?"

"Of course I did, I just wish we would have this sooner. But we still have a few weeks, right?"

So much had happened in the course of a month, but summer was almost over. There were only three weeks left, I needed to start packing for Berkeley.

"Yeah! And you can always come up to California. I won't be able to go that long without seeing you anyways." I hugged her.

"Are you gonna tell mom and dad tonight?"

"Yeah, about Harry and I and Berkeley. Might as well since I'm leaving soon anyways." I shrugged. I knew that my parents would be proud about Berkeley, and my mom knew about mine and Harry's feelings for each other, so I'm not sure that we were together would come as a big surprise to them.

"Okay," She nodded and went back to scrolling on her phone.

"Let's head out ladies! We're going to be late!" Harry came bouncing out of my room now dressed and heading for the door.

I smacked his bum as he walked past me, earning a glare from him as I giggled. "You're going to get it later, Isabella." He chuckled.

"I'll hold you to that, Styles."

Soon enough we headed out the door and made it to the restaurant we were eating at. Our parents were already seated and ordering their drinks.

I hugged my parents and Harrys before the three of us sat down, Harry on my left and Ashley on my right.

"So, how is everyone?" I asked.

"Enjoying the quiet," My dad laughed, nodding towards Ashley.

Ash sent him a playful glare as the waiter came to get our orders, walking away as quick as he came.

"How about you guys? I was sure you'd get sick of each other by now." Gemma smirked.

I gulped as Harry grabbed my hand under the table, sending me a small nod. I took a deep breath in before speaking.

"Actually, Harry and I are dating. And I got accepted to Berkeley, I leave in two weeks."

My parents looked like their eyes were about to bulge out of their heads, while Anne smiled and clapped her hands together.

"Congratulations honey, that's amazing! What are you studying?"

"Business," I smiled.

"That's great Bella, I'm so proud of you." My mom grabbed my hand and squeezed it from across the table.

"Harry, you're a great young man, I'm not surprised you too are together, just please don't hurt Bella. I know who your parents are and where you live," My dad laughed, earning a giggle from me.

"I'd never dream of it," Harry smiled at me.

I earned a series of congratulations from the rest of the table. We talked until our food came, and the table fell silent once again.

Except for me scolding Harry for stealing my fettucini alfredo off my plate.

"Harold, quit it!" I flicked his hand away for the seventh time.

"Your food always tastes better than mine," He shrugged.

"We got the same thing Harry."

"Exactly,"

"You make no sense Harold." I shook my head.

I looked up from my plate and our families were looking at us with smiles on their faces. I pretended that I didn't see and continued eating.

After some more discussions and dessert, we decided to head back to my apartment. We hugged our families and bid farewell before getting into the Range Rover.

"I think that went well," I smiled at Harry.

"They didn't seem too surprised, which is what I was expecting."

Harry just nodded his head and kept his eyes on the road. He was biting the inside of his cheek, something that he only did when he was nervous.

"Haz? Baby are you okay?" I questioned, worry laced in the tone of my voice.

He sighed and ran his hand through his hair. "What's gonna happen to us when I leave? Or when you leave? I go back home and start tour a week later, I'll be gone for almost a year." He spoke in a whisper tone.

The truth is, I never really thought of what would happen with us. I definitely didn't have the money to travel and see him, and he wouldn't have the time. Part of me was scared to bring up the topic, I didn't want to believe that we'd have to leave each other.

"I... I haven't thought about it. I like where we are now, I don't want it to end." I turned away, biting my lip and keeping my eyes on the road.

"Listen, baby. I've wanted to ask you this for awhile, but I don't want you to feel like I'm making you choose, I just want you to know that the option is there, okay?"

"What option Harry?"

"You can come and be on tour with me."
