Shine a light on my silence
Disclosing hidden emotion
That darkened itself behind my lips
Purge it from my being
Outside of my control
My grasp that oppressed
The unsaid
The dull pain in my chest
That was left to
Numb itself
The hole left filled with fire
That refuses the soothing
Water of joy
Echoing the memory of pain
In its eternal recesses
