(walks into the library)

i'm dreading this so much right now

HARU
(looks up and sighs)

here we go again. come on kamal, hit me with another insult

( hueningkai sits down across haru and lays his head on the table)

HARU
(furrows her brows in confusion)

"kai kamal huening, don't tell me you're sleeping right now"

HUENINGKAI
(mumbling incoherently)

"i've had a long day, please keep quiet"

(haru rolls her eyes and lets out a loud yet irritated huff)

HUENINGKAI
(mumbling again)

"try not getting on my nerves, that's all i ask"

HARU
(mutters)

"whatever, i'll do it myself then"

(starts searching up ideas and themes on her laptop)

awhile later

HARU
(yawns)

the things i do for my beloved bestfriends, i wouldn't have volunteered if it weren't for their whiney asses

(haru yawns again as rests her head on her crossed arms on top of the table before finally taking a nap)

HUENINGKAI
(wakes up to find haru asleep)

ah, this girl really..

( hueningkai starts researching from where haru stopped, humming a tune while glancing back and forth between haru and the screen in front of him)

she's actually really adorable when her mouth isn't running like an open tap

(haru pulls her arms closer together as she slightly shivers from the cold)

HUENINGKAI
(sighs and places his jacket over the shivering  and fatigued girl)

it's been a while since i've cared about her. it's all coming back to me again and i really do miss her.

( hueningkai starts mentally screaming and slaps himself after realising what he thought about)

no no no. no haru for me this time. i told myself i wouldn't associate myself with her.

i'd just end up facing unrequited love again.
