Chapter 1: Introduction

I hear my alarm ring on my phone. I'm glad my parents got me the iPhone 11, I completely destroyed my last one. I grunt and open my tired eyes to see the bright California sun shining through my window. I sit up and I look around my new room. My family and I just moved into our new house. Oh yeah, let me introduce myself. "I'm Winter Rose Carter, but call me Winnie. Thats what literally everyone calls me. Anyway, you probably don't recognize the last name. Nobody really ever does. I'm Jay-Z and Beyoncé's daughter. Well, oldest daughter. You may think it's amazing, right. Well it is at most times but at other times it kinda sucks. Everyone expects me to be this amazing singer and dancer and it's a lot of pressure for a 15 year old girl. I've also had a hard time finding a good school with friends that weren't fake. That's why my family and I moved schools I'm now going to attend Sierra Canyon school. My dads best friend, LeBron James recommended it for us. I know right. LeBron said it would be better because I would know a few people there. I've known Bronny for a while now. We have been best friends since I was little. We kinda drifted when I moved away, but now that I'm back we can hang out a lot more. Anyway, let me tell you a little about myself. Where do I start. Well, as you already know my name is Winter, I am 5' 10" and I have 3 little siblings. I was born on October 11, 2004. I have hazel-ish eyes, I play volleyball, basketball, soccer, and I sing, obviously. That's pretty much all I can tell you guys and girls right now. I don't want to be late to school on the first day."

I pulled off my covers and turned on my speaker and put on Blinding Lights by The Weeknd. I'm surprised my room has been clean even thought it's only been one day. I'm probably the messiest person you will meet.

I looked at all 300 something pairs of shoes. It's a lot, I know I have a problem. I'm not sorry tho, if I like to shop then I like to shop. Don't judge me. First I checked the weather. It was supposed to be 80 degrees and sunny. I also wanted to look cute cause it was the first day. I chose this shirt:

Then I chose these shorts:

With my plain whit low top Air Forces and a light weight cardigan. I grabbed my phone and walked downstairs.
