Chapter 30

Avu's POV

it has been almost two weeks since riyaz joined our college and it has not been going good..... he forced me to tell the gang that everything is okay between us and that i forgave him though that is far from the truth still i think the gang bought it but reem didn't she still thinks im lying which i am. The competition is coming closer and thankfully my cast is off...all the tryouts are done and the practices are starting  from today. Me and bandar have been practicing our performance and we are getting better. The only bad thing is that riyaz has been bullying me everyday and it's getting worse every day. Vaishu: where are you lost?

Avu: n-nowhere

Vaishu: okay....ab idhar hi khade rahegi ya andar bhi aana hai

Avu: nai nai chalo andar

i looked around and inside was everyone I loved and then my sight fell upon the person i hated the most...he ruined my life once and he is back to do it again. I made my way over to bandar and sat down in front of him 

Sidd: hey, where were you?

Avu: nothing just went to the washroom

Sidd: okay here listen this is the schedule.....The colleges and guests are going to arrive on Sunday, then Monday is the welcome ceremony, Tuesday is the Swimming competition in the morning and relay in the afternoon, Wednesday is the 800m race, Thursday is the volleyball, Friday is cycling, and saturday is the basketball, then sunday is the ceremony where they announce the winner and that's going to be in the morning and all the guests and other colleges will leave in the evening. 

Avu: okay wow this is going to be so tiring.....but so much fun 

i was just talking to bandar about the competition when di called me 

Vaishu: AVUUU (she said yelling from the other side of the room)

Avu: YES DI? (i said shouting back)

Vaishu: COME HERE I NEED TO TALK TO YOU

Jai: can you guys stop yelling? some of us are actually trying to work here (he said getting annoyed)

I stuck my tongue out towards him and walked over to di. 

Avu: whats up?

Vaishu: day after tomorrow is sidd's birthday

WHATTT?! i did not know that....i think he forgot about it himself 

Avu: whattt i didn't know that

Vaishu: yeah he doesn't like to celebrate his birthday because it's the day his dad died.....he hasn't celebrated it in almost 10 years

Avu: that's so sad

Vaishu: yeah but this year we decided that we are going to throw a party for him 

Avu: aw that's so sweet....but if he has not celebrating it for these many years then why will he celebrate now?

Vaishu: that's the thing see you're his best friend right? so we were going to ask you to somehow make him understand 

Avu: but why me? jai and fais can do it

Vaishu: they can but no one understands him like you do....you guys have a different type of understanding and bond that's why

I thought about it....he has been through so much in life he deserved this happiness but he is not able to accept it....i can't have happiness in my life but at least i will be happy bringing happiness in someone else's life.
